Have you ever been french kissed?

Hi all.  Can you believe it's June?

Re: Have you ever been french kissed?

  • Another one I don't know! :(

I'm going to a New Kids concert this month!

  • Hi!

No I cannot believe it is June!  I don't want it to be June. My sister's family moves in 3 weeks and I am already crying about it. I don't want them to move. :'(

Umm. I know this quote but I have to think on it. I can't place it!

  • Hello!

I don't know this one off hand.

    How was everyone's weekend?
I had off! It was so nice. We didn't do anything, and it was amazing. We tanked the last of the How I Met Your Mother seasons on Netflix. I'm sad now because we have nothing left to watch.

I'm sorry Aggie.  How far away are they moving?  I miss my sister so much living so far away, it sucks :-(

Good Morning! I don't know this one either, but I am think 80's for some reason. Happy Belated birthday E! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. We had a productive weekend. H finished the mowing the lawn. went to a Bach party, did 5 loads of laundry, saw my sister, opened the pool, picked out light fixtures for the outside, decided on landscaping, and went to a wedding. All and all a sucessful weekend.

I also can't believe it is June. I need to get my car inspected and buy H a birthday present. O Boy! I have no idea what to get him.

  • "You know I don't like it when you swear."

"Breast is not a dirty word."

Oh man. It's been a long time since I saw this movie.A good one Beanie!

Aggie: I'm sorry your sister is moving away. Where is she moving too?

Kris: YAY NKOTB!! Enjoy and don't be afraid to elbow those BSB and 98 degrees fans in the face.

jlq: I love weekends of not doing anything. That will be me this weekend. Do you do streaming on Netflix or mail in DVDs?

Deg: You had a busy weekend! I'm glad everything went well.

    EEEE: Happy Birthday love!

I can't even function that it's June already. I think I'm just going to go to bed and wake up when it's July. This month brings me so much anxiety. My birthday is this month, and while my birthday doesn't usually stress me out, this year it comes with my second should be due date 10 days after.

We had a busy, but good weekend. We painted the living room. It's a color called rustic taupe. It's a subtley bold color (if I may make up a word). Yesterday we went to the San Diego Rock n Roll marathon and cheered on the runners. We were at mile 12 for the halfers and mile 25 for the marathoners and everyone looked awesome. I would be dying by that point. So inspirational!  After that we went to see American Idiot. It was an early birthday present from H. Such an amazing show! The dancing was incredible. Of course, the music was awesome, but I knew that before going in. Wink

  • ::yawn::  I had an insane weekend.

I won't relive it for you except this way: Philly, Manhattan, Glen Falls, Lake George, Albany, Philly, roof decks, Game of Thrones.

Tomorrow and Wednesday I'm up in North Jersey for a training thing.  I need a break.

Does anyone else kinda fall apart when social events are scheduled back to back to back?  I can't handle weekends where every second is taken up by some sort of social thing.  I usually only schedule one thing, like dinner on Saturday or brunch on Sunday for my weekends.  I get entirely too angry and stressed if it's more than that because - hey - I need time to myself.  Am I weird?

  • Yay for fun weekends. It sounds like there quite a few around here :-)

They are moving to the Detroit area so about an 8hr drive from here. BIL is active duty so when we moved here I knew this would happen, but it doesn't make it suck less.

Nah that is just the introvert in you. I can handle a weekend or two like that but then I am done. And it's not a pretty done either and I am pretty middle of the road extrovert vs introvert.

  • I'm sorry, Aggie!!  I'd be very sad if my sister moved away.  At least they are still within driving distance.

And Detroit is only 8 hours?  We drove there a few years ago and it was 10...  :-(

Ha.  Thank you!  Last night and this morning was a non-pretty done.  We had some neighbors come over to watch Game of Thrones, which was great because I'm glad we're meeting people, but after the weekend we had, I was just donedonedone.  Get out of my house.  PLEASE.  Then other people showed up and I really was starting to lose my cool, but you don't want to because it's so nice to make new friends!  I just wish it had not been yesterday...

  • Uneek - We do streaming on Netflix.

Joy - I am totally like that. I cannot handle when my weeks/weekends are just jammed with stuff. It makes me crazy. I need some downtime. I am perfect happy to just stay at home for an entire day doing nothing. Jason hates doing that, so it drove him nuts that I didn't want to do anything this weekend.

  • Isn't that funny, jlq?  I had a good friend in college who once said to me "I love having so many things planned that I have to cancel one thing so I can go to another.  Don't you just love that?"

Yeah, she had four heads in that conversation to me.

Luckily, Jay gets it.  He's more middle of the road and likes going out to do thing, but he's also equally happy on the couch with a drink and a movie.

  • It's a full days drive for sure. Either way its further than I would like but not as far as she has been from me.

Ps joy we are coming to Philly the weekend of the 22nd  going to a philly game staying 1.2mi from the Rocky steps as my H puts it. He fully intends to run to them up them, do the cliche Rocky move and run back to the hotel. While I hide. Can't wait!

  • YAY!!!  You'll have so much fun, Aggie!
  • I found out yesterday that one of my good friends from college is coming home for almost a month! She lives in Alaska now with her husband and I haven't seen her in almost 2 years! I'm SO excited!!!!!! I don't care how, but I'm making seeing her happen.

  • I've only seen this movie once and it was long long ago!
  • Ha! I have never seen this movie. Or years of it until today.  But this quote is so familiar. I don't know where I have hears it!

I knew it!  It sounded familiar and I had to think about the whole time I was reading the thread but I finally got it.  Yay!  I feel so accomplished :)

Thank you everyone for the birthday love (here and on FB)  I feel very loved Cake

Kris - have fun at the concert!  When it is exactly?

Aggie - I know you're sad about your sister moving but I can't be sad that now you have a reason to come to Michigan!

jlq - I'm glad you finally had a weekend off!  And that's exactly how I love to spend my weekends, doing absolutely nothing.

Degrea - I'm exhausted just reading about your weekend.  Holy moly!  But congrats on getting so much accomplished!

uneek - Glad you had fun at the show!  It sounds like it would be a fun one!

Joy - you're not weird at all, I'm the same way.  I can only handle people for so long before I'm all "for the love of god, just let me be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  I used to be a lot more extroverted but I think working my job has made me much more introverted.  There is just so much talking to people/making small talk I can handle.  I do it enough at my job that I hate doing it on my own time.

We had quite the busy weekend.  Saturday MIL and FIL came over to take DH and I out for a birthday lunch.  They also brought us some of their day lillies from their garden.  Yesterday, I had to go grocery shopping (bleh) and we went to see The Hangover 3 (it was bad, don't waste your money.)  I have today off of work so I ran this morning and then was helping DH with some landscaping out front. He's done for the day but I may go back out in a little while to finish some stuff up.  It's a beautiful day outside (sunny and 70 degrees) so it's perfect weather to be outside doing manual labor.  Cool

  • Hi ladies!!! I love this movie. Of course, when it came out, I had the major hots for Devon Sawa. This and Casper...he was dreamy! Embarrassed Speaking of our youths, I saw this on MSN. It brought back awesome memories! I may have to check some of these books out for a little light maternity leave reading. http://glo.msn.com/relationships/best-ya-books-from-the-80s-9315.gallery

Glad to hear everyone had fun weekends. Ours was relaxing which was fantastic. I slept until 9am both days which pretty much never happens. I think my body is trying to take advantage of the last few days until I never control my sleep schedule again.

I'm with Joy and JLQ, I hate having things every moment of the weekend. I also really dislike having activities planned for several weekends in a row. I need time to catch up! Plus, I like to cook and scrapbook and do laundry on the weekends and if you're on the go, you lose that time. Really, is there much worse than having to do laundry after work? Ugh!

Have a great day ladies! I can't believe it's June already! EEK!

  • WTF Nest? Why won't my link work?

  • Kris - my sisters and I are seeing New Kids this Friday! We will have seen them exactly two years ago to the day! I can't wait to be a screaming school girl again! It's hilarious.

Our weekend was busy and good. We had a wedding Saturday and one of our guy friends guessed I was preggo so even though its kind of early we told the rest of them too. We have another wedding in two weeks so hiding it from them for two weddings would have been impressive.

Joy - I tried so hard to do  that one hair style you posted but I couldn't get it quite right. My hair was straightened though so I'm thinking if I just straighten the tops so its flat and leave the bottom with more life it'll tuck in nicer. I will master it!

  • Long hair takes practice, Echo!  Keep at it!
  • I most certainly will be. Just over two weeks till another outdoor wedding. I must master this Gibson tuck or some other equally awesome updo.
