1. We went to the library for the first time yesterday and we found a bunch of books. Ava Nichol has 5 board books she can read on her own and I got a few paper books to read to her before bedtime.
2. We are finally getting a bedtime routine together that includes brushing her teeth and reading a story. We still hold her until she falls asleep and put her in bed but we enjoythose bedtime snuggles for now.
3. Ava Nichol discovered a new favorite snack...mini marshmallows!
4. DH made dinner last night, which I really appreciate, but he left the kitchen a disaster.
5. The weather is amazing this week and I am trying to make plans to go to the park with a friend.
6. I am hoping to take Ava Nichol to the zoo on Sunday! So excited!
7. I need to deep clean my house because we are hosting aBBQ on Father's Day.
8.Ava Nichol will give kisses to her dolls, stuffed animals and pictures but no kisses for Mommy.
9. We have a busy summer coming up. I think every weekend has at least one thing going on and we also want to hit up the zoos,Northwest trek, an animal farm that you get to drive through, wolf haven and more. oh yeah and the beach as well.
10. Ava Nichol says please and all done in baby sign language and she says thank you out loud. I am starting to hear more and more words in her babbling and it is super exciting. I can't wait to hear what is going on in her head since she is such a goofball!

1. I am tired as all heck today. Can't snap out of it....
2. At our AS, we recorded baby's heartbeat on a Build-A-Bear recording thing. DH and I are going to take our neice to make the bear for Baby Boy with his heartbeat inside it. I am really excited about this.
3. It's only Tuesday and I wish it were Friday. Going to be a long rest of the week.
4. I went to Indiana last weekend to visit my sister. It was a fun weekend but I am beat because of the traveling and the lack of sleep all weekend. This weekend my mom wants me to take a ride up north with her to our cabin. 3 hour drive one way. I want to go because I love it up there but I also just want to stay home and plant flowers.
5. My old best friend from high school just moved back to my area. Getting dinner with her next week and I can't wait! : )
6. I have book club tonight. We just read Now You See Her by James Patterson. Next book is The 12th of Never by same author. I started reading it and am not impressed. There are a lot of characters and it switches back and forth. They have not connected with each other yet and I have difficulty reading it.
7. I pick the book next month. Any suggestions?
8. My MIL called my mom last night about starting to plan my shower. I am excited and nervous. I just want a small intimate shower with close family and friends and I am already getting the "so and so is going to be really hurt if they are not invited" Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
9. Has anyone tried a belly band or something? Whenever I get up from sitting or laying down, it is kind of painful. My tummy feels so heavy. I heard they make a belly band or something to help ease the pressure of the increasing weight??? And if so, where do you get it.
10. Nursery looks like a tornado went through it. Makes me excited but now we need to start getting it all organized. While I was gone last weekend, DH washed all of the 0-3 months clothes we have. I got it all hung up in the closet and it I love how the teenie tiny clothes looks hanging in there. So cute!!!
After awhile, you just want to be with the one who makes you laugh. - Mr. Big
1. I am such a pregnancy cliche. I can't eat anything without getting my shirt dirty.
2. I also drool a ton at night. I have a sinus infection and that definitely isn't helping the drooling situation.
3. I bought ice for at work yesterday. I want ice all day every day.
4. The Pens/Bruins series is making me sad.
5. I'm glad that my ILs haven't purchased anything for their house for the baby. I want them to babysit the baby at our house (for a number of reasons), but if they don't have any baby items, then they have to at our house. I wouldn't mind if my parents watched at our house, but we have a cat, and my dad is deathly allergic to cats, so I'm happy to take the baby to their place. But my parents also have one well behaved dog, a crib, a pack'n play, a rock'n play, diapers, diaper cream, bottles, etc.
6. I hate that rugs are so expensive.
7. I just got the completion code for my amazon registry, so this weekend I'll be purchasing the car seat, glider, crib mattress and a few other necessities. Finally.
8. I might take a nap in my office today. Or I'll leave my office early and see if I can take a nap at my sister's house. I am just exhausted.
9. I am glad that I am just about 8 months pregnant now. When people tell me I look big, I just tell them, "well, that is what happens when you're 8 months pregnant."

Mad - Why do you feel v-day should be 26-28 weeks? You're a day away! That's a big milestone! Also, I'm not sure how to share the registry info.
Wiggys - I always feel that way when H makes something in the kitchen. Thanks, babe, but how in the world did you make such a mess?

1. I am enjoying leftovers from last night for lunch today.
2. I'm gearing up for my last day of work today!
3. I love working in her nursery.
4. I'm in nesting mode overload and seem to have a never ending list of things to do.
5. I'm glad I'll have the time to work on it.
6. I love Gilmore Girls.
7. I enjoy getting to watch an episode while I eat lunch.
8. It blows my mind that LO will be making her appearance soon.
9. I hope this afternoon flies by.
10. I hope I can relax before LO comes.

Mrads-Oh the joys of pregnancy..not always so pretty. Also, super exciting to get all that stuff so soon
Gator-I live Gilmore Girls! We own all 7 seasons and have watched it all the way through more times than I can count. I even have DH hooked on it.

1. I have no aspiration to work this week. I'm just trying to do enough to get through it.
2. I'm pissed at my MIL. Last night, DH and I went to a baseball game with ILs and he made a smart comment. Her response was, "You are so not even close to ready for kids." They don't know we are pregnant, but her comment had nothing to do with what he said. Uncalled for.
3. I've already thought about themes for the nursery.
4. DH installed a new microwave and toilet over the weekend! So excited! (Never thought I'd say that...)
5. I've been to 11 different countries.
6. My favorite type of ice cream is mint chocolate chip.
7. I still can't believe I'm pregnant. I don't think it'll feel real until I hear the heartbeat and I can tell people out loud.
8. I hope our baby has DH's eyes. He's got big doe eyes.
9. I wish DH and I would move farther away from my ILs. We are them once a week and my family about once every 3 weeks.
10. I am classically trained in piano and the violin.
We own all 7 seasons too. I still can't pass up an opportunity to watch a rerun on abc family.

1. I go back to work in exactly a week and I'm mostly unhappy about this. I love spending time with M but I also could use some time away from mommy duty and the house for a little while.
2. We have to go to my IL's this weekend and I am dreading it with every fiber of my being. It makes me sick to my stomach to think of everyone trying to play "pass the baby" and give me unwanted parenting advice. If I could be positive DH would set good boundaries it would be a different situation.
3. I'm tired of feeling fat and squishy but have little energy or ambition to begin changing this.
4. M is 9 weeks old and I still haven't had ST with DH again. Tampons are uncomfortable and I just don't like him very much right now to inspire me to put effort into it.
5. I want to read more often that I get to.
6. I became obsessed with Hart of Dixie and now I MUST watch season 2, however I can't find it anywhere for free.
7. I wish my life weren't so unsettled right now. We're looking to move closer to my job (An hour and 15 commute each way) but my DH wouldn't be able to keep his job if we did this due to his funky hours. He's applied to several places but no bites so far and it's getting to us both.
8. I want a maid. My house is a disaster area.
9. M must be hitting a growth spurt because last night and today have been awful.
10. I need to win the lottery or become independently wealthy. Money can't buy happiness but it sure makes things easier to do.

1. As soon as I walk into the computer room a baby cries. I'm not shitttttin you, every time!!
2. MRads, I have a Mom crush on you. I think its because your BFP was righht after mine & it's going SO fast. I can't wait for your baby.
3. I'm going to attempt the mall and using my city mini for the first time tomorrow!!ahhhhh.
4. My babies are out of preemie clothes!
5. I always feel bad for the baby who started eating second. he/she has to wait, is screaming, mad... It makes my heart hurt. The first one usually gets the shaft towards the end of the feed. I can't let one just cry and cry. Tandem feeding isn't easy, I don't like it.
6. EBF brings me great joy. I love that time. (when it's calm)
7. DH got a raise. It kicks in next week. This makes me calmer about being a SAHM.
8. You have to have a good latch with BF.
9. I need new bras.
10. I miss Lb.
11. My babies are 3 weeks old today.
#6, YES! I hate it.
Venti, I've always had a crush on you. I can't believe your
babies are 3 weeks already! And I can't imagine how hard it is juggling
feeding two. You're doing great.
