Re: QOTD 6/4

  • 2, we want a boy and a girl. I've said if we have 2 of the same gender, we'll adopt a 3rd

  • One, possibly two. A lot of people seem to think H and I are going to have twins for some reason. I'm skeptical, but we'll see how it goes!

  • We would be happy with or without children honestly.  I get "baby hot flashes" from time to time, but I'm still not sold on the idea of having any.  I never wanted kids when I was younger, and now I only want them sometimes.  But, the moments when I think I want them, I really want them.

If we decide to have them we only want 2.  I don't want an only child, but anything more than two does not sound appealing to me.  Gender means nothing to me, but DH would want boys.

  • We agreed on 2 ! i love kids and so does H - but they are expensive!!! i want one of each H wants our first to be a Girl < i agree girls stuff/ clothes is so much cuter! lol> but we will be happy as long as our babies are healthy!
  • No baby fever here...yet.

DH and I would like 2 kids. I'm an only child, it was fun when I was a kid and didn't have share, but now it's no fun to not have siblings to play "remember when..." with. I'd like a girl and a boy...but whatever happens is the way it was meant to be

    : )

  • I'd rather one, and DH would rather two. Right now, our position is: we'll try one, see how that goes, and see who changes their mind. We'll see.

I LOVE  the term "baby hot flashes", ha! I think that's where I am.

  • I've always said I wanted two. Now, with the reality of how expensive they are, it is freaking me out and I think I only want one. But, H grew up in a huge family, he is one of seven, and I had a sister and the thought of an only child makes me sad for said child. So, it will probably be two (God willing).

  • I want 3, H only wants 2 because he already has 2.  For some reason 4 is better than 5...

Compromise was 2 + a dog. But then I brought up twins run in my family and I won with 2 pregnancies haha.

  • H has two daughters from his first marriage, so I think just one more would be good.  I used to want at least 2, but I don't know if I could handle 4 kids!  The two that we have part time are a lot to deal with some times!

  • I used to want to have as many as i could naturally before 40 (i also wanted to get married at 23 and get KU right away) now i'm 27 and realize how much i enjoy sleep and money...so more like 2...maybe 2-4 (we'll see how the first one goes).  DH is 35, wanted to be done having kids by 40...and wants a bazillion kids (his words) so he's going for 4 HA...we'll see! we're going to stop TTA in July (went off the pill this month and have been TTA...but not as careful as we once were back in the day) we're not going to really TRY like, obsessively monitoring things, right away. we're just going to stop trying to NOT get KU and see how it goes :)

I couldn't be more excited for July!!!

    EDIT:

I also want at least one of each gender...so two boys we'll try for a third def. and vice versa...BUT!  if we have three boys I would not want to risk a 4th boy...esp knowing how DH was as a kid...

Haha i know too many people with three boys  and i couldn't it! That's why if we have two boys, I'm adopting a little girl! I have to have a little girl. I could probably handle two girls and be okay without a son...i want a daughter for sure!

  • i am the youngest of 7 ...and 5 of the 7 are Boys !!! and my oldest brother is only 10 years older then me! i have no clue how my parents did it w/o going insane!
  • We want as many as we can afford, ha!.  We used to say 4 or 5, but now the reality of how expensive they are it hitting us.  Ideally I would like at least two (boy and girl in a perfect world, lol) but H has said that he would be happy with 1 if that's the way it's meant to be (but I'd still rather not have an only child).

I have 'baby hot flashes' too.  A LOT of my friends have kids and every time I hear someone else is pregnant I get a pang of jealousy.  But I'm 24, still in grad school, and we are still living in a one bedroom apartment.  No where near ready for kids!

  • We want 2, possibly 3.
  • We want two, a boy and a girl.  If we only end up having one that's okay too.  I feel like I am getting really old though.  Plus I just saw a segment on the Today show that said that you should have kids before 35 because that is when your risk for miscarriages and infertility go up.  I wanted to cry.  :(

  • We always said we wanted two. Both of us are thinking maybe 3 now. Who knows?

Right now, we just want to be pregnant! Start with one and go from there.

  • We want one boy and one girl.  There are 3 kids in my family and I felt like there was always an odd one out or sides were being taken (between us, not my parents).  H just has 1 younger sister and he liked it that way.

  • We have my son who will be 13 on June 11th... We are pregnant with my second (Dh's first) due in goodness a MONTH, a little girl

DH says he wants 7 more HAHAHAHAHAAH I say a couple at least.

He loves DS like his own, but would like to have his own son as well which I understand. So I am sure this baby will not be our last. But goodness I think 7 is TOO much lol.

  • DH always said he wanted lots of kids but he's changed his mind a little I think. I'm hoping for 2 a boy and a girl would be best..I will try for a 3rd if the first two are the same depending on if we feel we can handle it..I'd like to have twins and they run in my family. If I have twins I may have to say one time and were done though...for fear of having 2 sets lol
