CC debt gone!
We finally have a decent amount set aside in our emergency fund (about 3 months worth of living expenses) so we decided to take some extra money out of savings to pay off our credit cards! It was only about $2500, but it feels like a weight gone from my shoulders! It made complete financial sense to do so considering the monthly payments (avg about $500/month since I never paid just the minimums) and the interest we were accruing each month. Now to put the extra money we're saving without credit card payments to get our emergency fund back up to what it was and striving to get to the recommended 6 months! (And putting my credit cards somewhere so we aren't tempted to use!)
