According to their site, they have a no haggle return policy but wondering how good that is. We purchased a water slide for the kids last summer and used it on and off for 2 months. Pulled it out this week and it is SO brittle and does not seem to be as solid (eg there is an air pump that remains on when it is in use). It cost $300, so certainly not cheap. I no longer have the receipt no box although it was purchased on my moms Kohls charge to get a bigger discount.
The plastic on the inside of it seems to just be shreading apart. Anyone know enough about kolhs return policy that can tell me if I should pack it up and take it back?
Re: kohls return policy??
I have to agree - you probably didn't store it correctly which is why it is the way it is. After a year and using it for 2 months I would never try to return something no matter what store it was. I would take it as a learned lesson thing and either don't buy something similar again, or look into the best way to store it so if you got another one it wouldn't happen again.
If you do honestly think it is a defect in the manufacturing, then you should contact the manufacturer, not Kohls.
Kohl's has a great return policy. Without the receipt you would need the Kohl's charge card you purchased it on to get the purchase price. Otherwise you'll get the lowest price it sold for.
The latter happened with a pair of PJs I bought DS recently. I had merchandise credit from an old return and bought him PJs with it. It made the merch credit $0 so I tossed the card and didn't keep the receipt. 2 months later the PJs screen print was melting onto other clothes in the dryer. I went for a return sans receipt thinking it was on my Kohl's card but it wasn't. I was only able to get $3.20 back.
