Ideas wanted...

I have a ten year anniversary coming this july.  I am very excited about.  Here is my situation, over the last three years our relationship have gone thru some rough patches and we are still together.  Not a question if we love each other, it is apparent by our committment to one another.  I have alot to make up for.  I want to do something really special for my man to show him how much I care for him.  I am in need of some ideas of what I can do to really make an impression on him.  So please if you have any advice I would love to read it.

Thank you in advance

Re: Ideas wanted...

  • What exactly are you trying to "make up for" here? I don't think a gift is a way to make up for things in the past, your actions of change is what helps build trust.
  • If you've gotten through these rough patches you should not be making up for things, rather letting actions speak for themselves. As the the question, talk to him and plan a nice weekend away. While you are there surprise him with some activity he enjoys.

  • I also have this kind of situation some time ago, just tell him how you feel and I'm sure it WILL work out. This is Personal Experience.

  • You should try to go on a trip. It does not matter if is just for the weekend, the point is to make it as especial as possible.

10 years is a lot of time. So why not celebrate big. Pick a place that you two like and go. Or if you have some time, take a small vacation with him.  Make it worth it.
