Give me your cold remedies - STAT.
I have the <<insert name of my company>> plague. I work with children and one coughed in my face a few days ago and shared her lovely cold with me. My head is all stuffed up and I have a terrible cough.
I know that I can't take my usual cocktail of DayQuil and NyQuil. I've been taking Benadryl to sleep and Tylenol for my sinuses. I called my family doctor and he told me to try DayQuil, after I told him I was pregnant.
I'd just suffer, but I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Western PA to see a college friend and to go shopping with my mom.
Share your remedies, please! I beg you!
Re: Give me your cold remedies - STAT.
Gargle with salt water, hot tea with lemon and honey, steam up the bathroom and sit in there to clear your sinuses. I hope you feel better soon!
Where in western PA will you be (if you don't mind sharing)?
Saline drops, cough drops should be fine.
Also, call your OB for med advice, not your family doctor. Your OB usually gives you a list of safe over the counter meds. Some will approve certain decongestants or some cough medicine.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
You'll only be about 2 hours away from me!
netti pot, saline nose drops, and an industrial sized box of Kleenex. Also LOTS of water and LOTS of sleep. I'd keep up the Tylenol when you need it.
Hope you feel better soon!
