Rants: I'm a little bummed that the weather has been a perfect 70 and sunny all week, and now that the weekend is upon us it's cold and raining!
Raves: H has been so miserable at work it was worrying me. He wasn't eating or sleeping and definitely wasn't acting like his usual happy/funny self. A large part of this was due to his store manager, but she's transferring to another store! Hopefully this will make for a better work life for H. I hate seeing him so unhappy.
WP: I'm actually not sure what we're doing. H was surprised at work with the weekend off! It's restaurant week at a local college town so I'd like to check that out. I think he wants to visit his parents, so we'll see what happens.
Rants: I'm tired of paying bills. I feel like that's all I do these days is write checks to pay bills.
Raves: H and I are getting a vacation this summer! We think we deserve it but money has been very tight lately. SO we couldn't pass up a free family trip.
Weekend Plans: Tomorrow H is working all day so that's my time to clean the house and try to catch up on laundry. Then I will be packing! Sunday we are leaving to go out of town with my dad, stepmom, and brother. We will be there until Wed it's a short trip but they offered to take us all since we haven't taken a family trip since I was little.
Probably start packing and organizing and getting rid of things because H & I are moving to Florida.
Rants?
So sick our our internet not working properly it goes out almost everyday and is out for a few hours sometimes even all day. No matter how many time Charter comes out it never gets fixed right. H thinks it the apt. complex that messes up the internet. we even got a new modem a couple months ago from them and it still goes out every day so it sucks that H & I pay for internet that doesn't work half the time.
Raves?
H & I got approved for the Apartment down in Florida so we will be moving in 2 weeks. I am so nervous yet way so exited. I can not wait to see our new place in person.
Weekend plans: Tonight is a quiet evening, tomorrow DH is going to FBIL's bachelor party, they're going to downtown Montreal for the Grand Prix festivities. My mom and I are going shopping in the morning and my friend is coming over for supper and girl time. Sunday I have a fundraiser 5km walk and in the afternoon I'll spend some time with DH.
Rants: SIL and FBIL's wedding is on the 15th and I have tons of appointments in the coming week; dress alterations, hair, nails, the rehearsal etc. We've been so busy lately and I want some us time. They've been engaged for 6 years and this is the longest wedding prep EVER. lol
Raves: So happy it's Friday, as of next Friday we'll be on vacation for a week and we're going to Portland, ME and Boston, MA! One week left until a great week with DH

Just the fact that it was totally beautiful all week, and now it's a weekend and rainy rainy rainy. BUT....
Raves:
I'm entirely too excited about this new job. One week left in my old job, and I have Monday off for training at the new job, and then an eye appt on Tuesday, and a dentist appt on Weds. This will be the shortest work week, ever.
Weekend Plans:
In-laws are on their way here to share with us a surprise. I think we'll find out more tonight, since they are leaving again in the morning. You know, just a quick trip from NC to CT and back within 24 hours. crazy people.
Tomorrow, I'm thinking mani-pedi to celebrate the new job, and then a lazy afternoon, since I think it's supposed to rain. Bday dinner for a friend tomorrow night.
Sunday will likely also be calm. Hopefully.

Tonight....well...it shall be fun...going with my bro's Fiance to try on bridesmaid dresses..2 yrs out...yes you heard me
Yay me...Im really hoping I can get out of trying any on right now...mother nature kicking my a$$ so im bloated and just feel icky....ugh Lol....
Saturday...taking the dog to get groomed and then going to the local racetrack with hubby's uncle and see some sat night short track racing woohoo
Sunday...prolly just gonna stay around home...trying to keep it cheap since we going to the Michigan Nascar race next weekend

Turns out they were here to recognize his 10 year anniversary working for/ running their business. They took us out to a fancy dinner, gave him a nice plaque, and a sizable check... Yowza.
