birthday party favor???

Okay girls, I know we had a question about this a few weeks ago...but I have another one. This is the first year we are having friends of Faith's come to her family party (we tried seperate parties last year and no one showed up for the friends, except close family firends).....so this year we just combined them...

anyhow, my question is this I bought 12 treats that would all be the same for her friends and I figure herself and her one cousin who is the same age...now for the other cousins (who are all older by at least 4 years!! or more!) I only purchased a hat and i plan on giving them a couple tattoos and candy...but my question is. would it be rude for me to give them only this instead of what the other smaller kids are getting?? i'm trying not to be rude, but in reality a 9 year old and older will not like the same stuff as a 4 and 5 year old would.

Re: birthday party favor???

  • I don't think it would be rude - at least you thought about the difference in age and their likes!

  • I think they'd be perfectly happy with tattoos and candy--especially candy.

  • I don't think its a big deal, but can you wrap them the same (gift bags or something) so that it isn't immediately obvious that they got "less?"  That may help to stem some of the comparisons.
  • If you like nature here is party favor that will wow any child.

In the TickleMe Plant Party Favor you can easily grow a real house plant that moves and closes its leaves either one at a time or all at once when you Tickle It!

See video and by all means grow a pet TickleMte Plant

  • Thanks girls! I'm just to the point where I kind of would love to stop giving favors to the older kids since they range from 9-14years old! And try to focus on only the younger ones, but DH says we can't do that because the younger ones are siblings to most of the older ones?? so I can not win at all and feel as though we are being forced into having to give older kids treats that they don't really appreciate or need themselves!!
