So we went on the hospital tour. DH and I were so excited.
When we got there, there were a ton of people, probably 10 couples. It was a lot. Probably more than they should allow on the tour at once because we couldn't all fit in the room(s) and we would block the hallways, etc.
One PG woman brought her husband and her mom and dad (she was the only one who brought more than one person) AND the mom was SICK!!! She wore a mask for part of the time (because the hospital has you do that).
So I spent the whole tour trying not to be near the sick grandma-to-be.
I thought it was so rude.
Here are a whole heard of PG women (and people in the hospital, and people in the maternity wings) and you bring a sick person in to infect us?! Knowing the person is sick, and knowing she probably doesn't really *need* to go on the tour at this time.
I was annoyed by the whole thing and so was DH. Some people have no common sense or manners.
The tour was nice enough, I am excited to have the baby! There was a new dad (he looked super young, which was cute) in the hallway with his baby. The baby was so small and had a TON of sandy hair! DH and I thought that was the best part of the tour.
Re: Hospital Tour Vent
I am surprised they allowed her. I'd be irritated.
Glad it went well otherwise!
