For just one night lets not be Co-workers, let's be Co-people
Another quote I wouldn't know if someone else posted. But its a fun movie and I imagine someone here will know it.
Happy Monday. My mom get into town today and will be here for a week so it should be interesting. She is coming to take care of the kids while my sister and BIL make an emergency trip to MI to find a house since their last seller was a jerk (to put it nicely).
How was your weekend? our was productive lots of errands and house stuff.
Re: For just one night lets not be Co-workers, let's be Co-people
I haven't known the quotes for several days now! However, this one seems familiar...
Our weekend was good. My husband and I have finally arrived in terms of adult city living: we have enough room for a true, four person, lovely dining table. This is huge. I haven't had a table since I moved out of college (11 years ago - not cool). It's black! And we have these black matching chairs with gray seats. It's excellent.
I wish a genie would come and give me enough money to finish our house. There's always something else to do and our current list is long. It's really fun, though. It's satisfying to do these things yourself; you just need a boattload of patience.
"You are a smelly pirate hooker"
Aggie - Boo for your Sister&BIL having to find another house! Hopefully it all works out for the best.
Joy - Yay for having a table! I couldn't imagine not having a dining room table.
I worked this weekend, so it was pretty boring. Saturday after work I went to Mass, then we had dinner then went for a bike ride. My legs were sore Sunday after the bike ride. Not used to it. We started watching Alias on Netflix. Anyone watch it before? It's not bad, a little predictable though.
my read shelf:
"You're a real hooker. I'm gonna slap you in public."
LOVE this movie. They are filming the sequel here and I'm thinking about applying as an extra.
Aggie - Enjoy the time with your mom!
Joy - Yay for a table! We got one for the first time ever when we moved into our house. So grown up!
I had a nice chill weekend. It was nice after running around for several weekends. Last week of school! WoooHooo!
DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay for the last week of school! I know how excited you must be! Any big plans for your summer?
my read shelf:
oh! OH! I cheated. But, now I know the movie. I've seen it - not my favorite by the lead actor - but I do really like him.
"Scotch, scotch, scotch. I love scotch."
Hmmm movie sounds familiar but I can't place it. We had nice weekend. I organized and printed all the pictures from vacation on Sat. Started scrap-booking it as well. I only got 3 pages done so a lot to go. It is good though to have them all printed out and organized. H worked on the pool and the house doing this and that. Sunday we went into BLO and had dinner with my parents and grandparents. We went to Pizza Plant!! I miss this place, so yummy! Than we got together with some friends from college and met there new baby. He is a cutie!
Joy: DR Tables are very exciting. I was excited when we got ours.
Aggie: Boo for jerks!
Uneek: Schools Out For The Summer! Well almost...
"I'm in a glass case of emotion."
"I'm gonna punch you in the ovary, that's what I'm gonna do. A straight shot. Right to the babymaker."
"It's so damn hot ... milk was a bad choice."
my read shelf:
Haha I knew it would be well known. I have only seen this movie once.
I am going to AW what I made for my niece for her b-day. She is getting an American Girl doll from my mom. So I made her and her new doll matching skirts. I think they turned out pretty cute. She picked out the fabric, although she has no idea what she is getting.
phew much better size I think.
I cheated as well but I have never seen this movie. O well!
I know the movie I just can't give you any quotes. I've only seen it once, and I'm iffy on movies by the lead dude.
CW decided it'd be hilarious to put a giant crayfish he found in the back of the warehouse (we are nowhere near water so how it got here I have NO clue) in a box and have me open it. He's on my evil list.
H and I got new phones this weekend, we have managed to bypass smart phones again! Yay.
Joy- I hear you on the wanting to finish the house mess. We have to add on to our existing shed for storage, so we are still dealing with a corner filled with christmas and holiday boxes. Until all that crap is moved we can't move in my piano.
I am SO with you on wishing you had more money for all the home stuff. We spent a lot this weekend on little things we needed around the house and there is still SO MUCH we should get. And Oh the boxes again something we were working on this weekend and its much better but still have more work to do.
Yay for almost being done Uneek!!! are you doing summer school this year?
Ugh, I can't stand this movie or anything this actor is in. He's extremely obnoxious IMO and not funny.
But in the spirit of the post, "I love lamp."
Aggie - sorry about your sister and BIL. That really sucks, hopefully they get it all sorted out!
Joy - if you find a genie, can you wish extra for me as well. DH have sooooo much we want to do yet so little time/money. Baby steps, baby steps.
jlq - yay for bike rides! Last year when DH and I were up in Mackinaw City, it was the first time I had riden a bike in about 10 years. It took awhile to get used to it again!
Hi uneek! Glad you had a relaxing weekend
degrea - sounds like a great weekend!
beanie - that is evil! Do you have any retaliation planned?
DH and I had a busy few days. Friday was the "intern" thing which was really neat! We got to meet a few coaches and tour the brand new football facility (including the locker room.) DH was in absolute heaven.
Saturday I had to run a bunch of errands and got my hair cut (6+ inches!) and then we went to see a comedian Saturday night. More errands yesterday. Yeesh.
Today I'm back at work and I have to run tonight. But other than that, it's pretty quiet which is nice.

Aggie!! I love those skirts! When I was a kid, I loved dressing my doll up and then matching her. So fun.
We've had pictures in frames littered all over the first floor for weeks since we moved in. I kept leaving them there because I was like "Next weekend, we'll hang pictures!" Yesterday, I gave up and moved them to the basement. At least the first floor is now uncluttered. We'll get to the pictures. And repainting the stairs. And repainting the doors. And painting/hanging our basement door. And finishing painting the bedroom. And buying a new bed. And redoing our bathroom. And finishing the garden outside. Shall I continue? :-)
Morning!
I cheated and googled. I've seen this movie once so I only know one line, which would pretty much give it away.
We saw The Hangover over the weekend. I liked it, but H thought it was okay. Then after the movie we tried this pizza place that's near us but had never heard of until they came by and put a menu on our door. It was pretty yummy.

Blasphemy, EEEE. His George Bush specials just kill me.
Admittedly, I have unpopular humor. I love Two and a Half Men (whatever) and Dane Cook (for the most part). And I haaaaaaaate The Big Bang Theory.
my read shelf:
Ahh! Okay, then. I won't throw anything at you over that :-)
Yessssssssss!!! I love Elf!!
