Scheduled to close Thursday!
After many delays, it looks like we're FINALLY scheduled to close this Thursday.
Can someone walk me through what to expect? Do I need to bring a cashier's check for the total closing costs? I'm such a newbie at this and want to make sure it goes smoothly.

Re: Scheduled to close Thursday!
Congrats!! How exciting!! I did not have a realtor but my lawyer sent me paperwork a few days before with the total cost breakdown. I had to bring a bank check for the total amount on the day of my closing. You can always email / call your lawyer or realtor to ask. Expect to sign your name so many times your hand will hurt!! Best of luck to you.
Congratulations!
Yes, for closing you will need a bank certified check for the total amount of the closing costs. If you do not have this number yet, you should be able to call your real estate lawyer or your mortgage office for this information.
Be ready to sign your name and your initials about 50 times, because there will be a lot of paperwork to go through.
Good luck!
