Probably not...I love him to death, but we're complete opposites on a lot of things. My lack of organization would drive him crazy and his lack of spontaneity would drive me nuts!

No, I don't think so! #1 because we aren't interested in the same kinds of things for career paths, so one of us would be miserable. #2 as much as I love my dear, sweet hubby, I need some time away from him!

Well, H and I met when we worked for the same company but not in the same building. I worked in the branch office and he worked out at a field office about 30 miles away. I don't think it would be a good idea for us to be in the same place. His lack of organization would make me insane! When I got to his building now, all I want to do is separate the piles of papers on his desk into neat and labeled piles. His email being so disorganized also makes me a little tense. Perhaps my OCD is showing some here...

It would be an adjustment, but I think we could make it work. We'd have to be owners of the company though.

H and I actually work together now. He started working with me at the beginning of February. It's actually been fun and we work really well together. The only time it sucks is when we get into a fight. All in all, it's made life much easier and reduced our monthly expenses by a lot. We sold his truck so no more monthly payment, save $$ on car insurance, no more toll road expense from him driving to his old job, and save $$ on gas from only driving to one place every day for work. We also get to work out every day together after work.

Probably not. As it is, when I visit him at work I tell him he needs to reorganize his desk. I would probably drive him crazy.

I think we could work together. He is an environmental technician and I actually applied for an administration position where he works (didn't get the job though).

Probably not, i am very organized and like to cross things off my to-do list. DH on the other hand likes to procrastinate and is very meticulous that it will take him forever to do a hands on project, which is not a bad thing, but he will contemplate it over and over which just adds to things taking longer than they need to, he is also forgetful which doesnt help anything, i swear sometimes he has ADD

we actually met at work and worked together for the first year we were dating. it was challenging sometimes, but not a big deal over all.

No. I don't think I'd have the problem. I am pretty bossy, I've been known to tell H he's taking out the garbage wrong. I think he'd leave me after a few days of working together.

No. Nooooo no no. Fortunately, our professions are so different that it won't be a possibility. Though I often joke that I wish he worked for the IT department of the hospital I work at because he'd do a much better job.
