Alternative to Google Reader

I know this came up before but what is everyone using on their computer as an alternative?   I need something other than Feedly b/c I use internet explorer & its not compatible (unfortunately b/c I like the Feedly mobile app).

Thanks!

Re: Alternative to Google Reader

  • Bloglovin'

I have been using it for a few months. Transferred all of my Google Reader automatically and the app is super easy to use.

  • Are there any that display the full story right in the feed like Reader does? I hate the extra step of clicking to open a new tab :)

That's how the blogger sets things up. A lot of the blogs I read don't let you read the full post without going to the site so I was used to that.

  • ditto blog lovin, I finally made the transfer a few weeks ago & it was easy to get all of my sites over there.  it took awhile to get used to clicking on each individual one, but I kind of like that now.

  • thanks - i hate that I have to click on every site though to see the post - defeats the purpose of easy reading.   Seems that bloglovin' does that for all of them though vs just following the blog's lead - i.e. I can see all of egpitt's post on reader but on bloglovin' I have to click to her site.

BTW... Way to Go Emmy!  My DH ran that race last year and he loved it exc. for the location.
