Please recommend a family friendly AI!

We generally don't do AIs because we're big on cruising but I don't believe that cruising is an appropriate family vacation (please don't try to convince me otherwise).
We'd like to take our son to the beach this year. He'll be nearly four years old. Can you recommend a quality all inclusive resort with a good kids program that is budget friendly? We're flexible about dates and country. We just want to get a deal at a nice resort and I must admit that I don't know much about them.

Could you give us an idea of your budget. Reasonable to one person is not necessarily so to another. If your budget is on the higher end, I've heard wonderful things about Beaches Turks & Caicos.
