Hello all! I wanted to see if any of you have experience with nightmares or your kids just being afraid in the night. Keefer (who will be 4 in August) just started this last month coming into my room every.single.night telling me he is "super scared". I take him back into his room, turn on his lullaby cd, and tell him there is nothing to be afraid of. Ten minutes later, he is usually back in my room telling me is scared again. If DH has already left for work (he leaves around 3AM), I just tell Keefer to get into my bed and go to sleep. I'm afraid I'm starting a bad habit though. I can't tell if he's really scared or just wants some attention. Elsey still gets up multiple times a night most nights so I am struggling to deal with both of them and then sit here at my desk at work all day. I'm so tired.

I was thinking the same thing as Amanda - and that I wouldn't worry about it for now. If he's still doing it in about 8 weeks, then that might be worth looking more into. Sounds like he just needs some Mommy time.
Does he do this when DH is there? Hang in there - my #2 was a rough / crappy sleep too. It does, eventually, get better!
My three sons!
