We did see the mother. Cristin Miloti of Once was cast in the role. Casey Wilson also guest-starred in the episode as part of an annoying couple.
Happy Endings was cute. I watched it on and off and will miss it..

I was pretty excited to finally see the mother. I thought she was adorable. Not what I pictured but still cute.

I am a bit sad about Happy Endings too. It was a quirky show.
I''m happy they finally revealed her! And I love Ms. Wilson in her guest appearance.
I'm so bummed about Happy Endings but I also heard that the USA network might revive it...I sure hope so -- it was hilarious!

I liked the finale. HIMYM was really starting to lose me in previous seasons, but this past season has been really good. I almost stopped watching, but I tend to keep watching shows that DH and I watch together.
Me too! HIMYM is the one show we both love!
