What are you summer plans?
We are loading up the kiddos and heading out for a road trip. We'll be hitting Atlanta, DC, Gettysburg, Baltimore and Williamsburg. We are supper excited. BTW, if anyone has recommendations for places to eat in any of those places that are kid friendly, inexpensive and yummy, we are open to suggestions.

I am doing a whole lot of nothing really. H is deployed until fall. I am going to Florida in August and meeting up with my BFF who is flying down from buffalo. The following week I am going to buffalo for the weekend, so that will be fun. In July my sister is coming up with her family and will be camping at hunting island.
I'm also job/apartment hunting in Florida. Even though we have no definites yet, H is probably not reenlisting and going to school in Florida. Like Stan, I like to prepare and this is pretty much all I can do without anything being set in stone.
I love Hunting Island! Have fun there.

I love it there too. They have a trailer, so I'll probably crash with them. It'll be cramped but worth it. I'm so thankful that my sister and I get along haha. It makes these things much easier.
Speaking of the house hunt, my sister just texted me that the people who rent across from her might be moving out in January. It's a bit closer to my sister than my husband probably wants, but its what we are looking for and the price point we want. If it does happen, we can't say no.
My summer plans are otherwise boring. I want to go on a roadtrip. Yours sounds fantastic!
Despite having lived in NoVA fairly recently, I'm not much help with restaurant suggestions. LO was no fun to take out to eat while we lived there, so we did not eat out often. Have a great trip!
We are currently headed to Edelweiss Lodge for a Strong Bonds retreat. We are staying two extra nights. Looking forward to a fun weekend!
We will be headed to Spain for a week in August. We'll be staying at a resort on la Costa de la Luz. I can't wait!
Otherwise, my ILs will be with us for four weeks. We may do some short trips and lots of day trips.

As I've whined about on GBCN, we're doing a cross country PPM. We're also going to Maine and I'm going to Chicago to see my two bffs. I'm starting to chat with a new recruiter, so hopefully that moves quickly.
