I've worn the same jeans (unwashed) to work 4 out of 5 days this week - and I don't care. They are the only ones that currently still fit.
I am not looking forward to announcing to my mom when the time comes. She is ridiculously over dramatic and will sob uncontrollably an ugly cry, praise God (she's not religious) and will somehow find a way to make it about her. Probably saying something along the lines of, "This happened because I was so fertile and had no problems getting pregnant with you and your brother."
Then, she will call me every single day, twice a day until I give birth to ask me how I'm feeling. Once Baby M comes, she will try to move in with us to "help." which really means to judge the way awe raise our child and talk bad about to family members, which is what she currently does about my SIL. (I will put my savings down on black that 100% of this will actually take place). /vent
I'm not nearly as excited to tell everyone that we're expecting, DH is telling EVERYONE and I'm just quiet about it. I feel bad, but I just don't want to make a big deal about it.
I'm also getting really annoyed with people not letting me do things and/or judging me for doing something. I can carry a basket. If I want to have a diet coke, I will. I'm not an invalid!
H told EVERYONE. I didn't even tell a friend I meet for lunch at least once a week that I was pregnant until 20 weeks. And only because she was coming to a family party with me, and I knew my family would be talking about it. I didn't tell work till about 24/25 weeks. I just didn't want people making comments. No shame in that.

Since we got this nasty sinus thing on Monday, I have been having trouble getting Ava Nichol to drink her milk and I don't blame her. I have put a little bit of chocolate syrup in her milk a couple times and she just chugged it down.

DH and I are going to Santa Cruz this weekend to get away. Little does he know this little 'vacation' is going to involve A LOT of him on baby duty! I take care of it during the week, but this weekend he is going to get an arm full!
I can't wait to get out of this heat and take a long walk on the beach and eat out!
I just went to Santa Cruz a few weeks ago. It was really nice to just walk around the boardwalk and the wharf.
