Nothing exciting at all happened to me this week.
Nothing too exciting going on for the weekend either, just the normal errands and cleaning of the house. I need to finish packing my hospital bag and pick out an outfit for the baby to come home in.
Sunday my mom invited us over for Father's Day but other than that we having nothing going on!
I had a great week, though nothing really exciting happened, it just felt like a good week!
This weekend we are going to an outdoor ampitheater performance Saturday night with some friends. We have lawn seats so we will bring a picnic and some wine and enjoy a lovely evening together. On Sunday, we are checking out a new church in our neighborhood. I have been attending the same church for the past 4 years, since moving here. We both love the church but since buying our house, we acknowledge that it is almost 40 miles away. We both really love being involved in the church, and being so far away makes it difficult. We are then going to a BBQ with our current church friends in the afternoon. Oh, and laundry and errands will be thrown in there too, ugh.
This week was pretty good, except some tooth pain that I've been having. I had a lot of medical related things go on this week which was a good thing. I saw my OB/GYN on Tuesday and got on a plan for TTC, had an MRI on Wednesday for my TMJ and I'll see my oral surgeon on the 24th to figure out why my jaw locks open and come up with a plan to fix it. And yesterday, I had to go in for blood work related to TTC.
I have an appointment with a dentist today at 1 and I'm pretty sure they are going to tell me that I'm going to need a root canal
H was telling me to just get the molar removed. He had his removed and what's funny is that it's the same one that is bothering me on the same side too.
Tomorrow, I may be getting the root canal done. If not, then we'll probably do some house work and go do something fun with the kids. Sunday, we are doing brunch with my parents and then whatever else H wants to do since it's Father's Day.
This week was a great week. I got a call for a second interview, which I'm super excited about. I jumped on the scale and it said I'm almost halfway to my goal weight! Hoping to hit that by my best friend's wedding the end of August. 8lbs in ten weeks, should be doable right?!
We are going to a friend's wedding tomorrow. I think it's a private ceremony, and we are just invited to the reception. Not sure though. I'm pretty excited, this will be the first wedding we're going to since ours!
It's been a good week! H started his new job on Monday and he's in hog heaven! He's enjoying watching paint dry on the roadways :P (he's doing more than that, that's just the part we enjoy teasing him about!). I got hired on as a 3rd grade teacher at a local elementary school! I went to visit my parents and brought back my furbaby. H and I decided we should consider buying a home instead of renting...
This weekend I think we're headed down to some outlets in Georgia. At least I am with MIL and SIL. I think H is going to try and stay behind. Then if his dad is back in town Sunday night from visiting his mom, we'll take him to dinner. Otherwise no plans.
I had kind of a lousy week. The exciting thing is it's over.
My BFF is coming over for dinner tonight, which is fun. Tomorrow night, some girlfriends are coming over for the bachelorette/bon voyage/girls night thing I was polling you ladies about earlier this week.
We are currently in VA bringing the kids back to MD! So this is a great week with a great week coming up!
Tomorrow we have a birthday party to go to, and some father's day crafts. Sunday is father's day bbq at my parents.
Exciting this week was confirming that I was pregnant with the doctor. My parents, brother and SIL know. Sunday, we are going to a BBQ at ILs house for Father's Day. We're going before the rest of the family to tell MIL, FIL and SILs. We're waiting to tell the rest of the family and everyone else until 12 weeks.
We have nothing exciting planned this weekend beside Father's Day.
We applied for a mortgage this week. That's about the most exciting thing that happened this week.
Tomorrow we are going to rpice out some carpet for the house we are buying. After that it is to DH's grandfather's for BIL's birthday. Sunday there is a party at DH's uncle's then we are taking my dad out to a Greekfest for Father's Day.
