My husband and I are starting to save up for a down payment. We are looking for a high interest savings account, and wondering if anyone had some insight on any. I'm new to all this and it'll be around 7 years before we buy, but we feel that we need to start saving now. (We want at least 100,000)
Re: Savings account?
I don't know much about ally, but they've had the best rates I've been able to find lately. We have CapitalOne360 and love it for the user-friendly site and great customer service. The rates are about 0.1% lower than with ally, I think. If you decide to go with CO130, you'll get a $25 bonus by going through this link: https://home.capitalone360.com/referafriend?save=FUtzTWp9nt. (Full disclosure: DH and I also get a bonus, if you open with a $250 starting deposit).
ETA: rate difference
