Monday...
How was your weekend? Anything special going on this week?
I had a bad stomach/intestinal issue for about a week and now H has it. I am finally feeling normal again. I dropped about 6 pounds from not being able to eat all week. I normally get weighed at WW every week but I think I might skip this week because now that I have an appetite for real food again, I'll probably just gain it all back :P
Re: Monday...
I payed bills and ran errands today. I have a teleconference for work later.
Saturday I was the only one working and worked 10 hours. It was extremely busy. DH accidentally woke me up oh dark early Sunday and I couldn't get back to sleep. I was beyond irritated and exhausted. Sunday was still a good day after DH woke up at 10am (5 hours later then me). I'm still recovering from Friday Saturday and Sunday. I'm sure ill be worn out tomorrow during work.
Saturday we had some friends and their little girl over and we cooked dinner and the kids swam in the pool. Sunday we had breakfast with FIL and an early lunch for MIL's father. Two restaurants in half a day is a tall order for a 3 year old.
Sunday evening BIL and SIL came over with their girls so the kids played and we made margaritas and ordered pizza
it was a fun weekend but we wound up being so busy I didn't get any of my laundry done.
To start off my Monday, MIL showed up at 8am unannounced to pick up her garden hose, and drop off her trash. The woman doesn't even pay her own trash. She left but then came back, blocking me in the driveway as I was about to leave, telling me some long story about why I needed to leave the carseat so she could take the kiddo over to her house because blabla bla I don't even know. I was running late and had to cut her off. Just come out and freaking ask! I don't need a whole life story. Not the best start to a Monday.
I have been BUSY lately!
Friday - I worked 9.5 hours. I didn't leave work until about 5pm (normally I leave about 3:30pm). We were busy with data entry to get our new HRIS system ready for go live! Friday night, I picked up the house a little bit. DH was working at the Zoobilation downtown for Qdoba. Qdoba had a food booth there, so he was helping at that. He had fun - he got to go around and sample the other booths and have some drinks. Glad he had fun, since we'll never be able to go to that event. I believe it's some black-tie fundraiser for the Zoo, and tickets were $350 per person!! People arrived in limos and all that. DH made the comment that he had never seen so many people in one place that had fake body parts LOL.
Saturday - DH had an event with his Car Club. He has a Genisus Coupe, so he's part of the GenSport Indiana. I was going to go with him, but I thought I was going to have the opportunity to work some overtime on Saturday. Since I didn't think I would be able to go with him, I told SIL I would watch our niece while she worked. Well, I ended up not working, so I still couldn't go with him, since I had to watch our niece. That evening, I went over to DH's aunt's and hung out with his family.
Sunday - Father's Day! My parents were still on vacation. DH had to work, but I went over to DH's aunt's and hung out all day.
Monday - I had to be at work at 5:30am to support our supervisors. I worked 10 hours yesterday. I went and picked my parents up from the airport, and then played 2 softball games!
This week - DH closes Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday I'm going to dinner with a old friend that is coming into town. We leave for vacation on Friday after work, so before then I need to clean up the house (my sister is staying at the house and watching the dogs) and pack!
