  • Ours wasn't fabulous but not too bad...

     Friday- 0

Saturday- $17.20 for pizza for a game night we hosted

    Groceries- $40.28

Sunday- Sleeping bag and fishing license for camping- $105.04

    $15.65 for cat food

So, $178.17.  Some of that was budgeted, some wasn't sadly.. hate those random unexpected things you need but forget to include in the budget!

  • We closed on our house last Thursday, so this weekend was full of spending getting stuff for the house. We came in somewhere around $500, which unfortunately is only a tiny dent in what we have to buy. Next weekend is going to hurt when we go to buy appliances...

  • Friday- I bought DH a "brewquet" from his favorite local brewery. Included a growler full of beer, 2 pint glasses, 2 koozies, a bottle opener, a coupdon for a free growler-fill up, and a cool wooden box/crate to put it all in. I also tossed a few boxes of his favorite candy in there. $37

Saturday- $12 for breakfast at Chick-fil-a. $20-ish for groceries. We played change poker with some of DH's friends, and we gained about $3, lol.

Sunday- $10 gas for my car, to last until I get paid. $14 groceries.

Best weekend we've had in a while!

I feel you on this! DH and I bought/moved into our house the first weekend in June and this was the first weekend we didn't shell out a ton of cash for anything. Partly because we both won't get paid until next week and partly because we were out of town half the weekend.

We discovered yesterday that the washing machine (and possibly dishwasher) will need to be replaced. Cha-ching!!!

Congrats on the new house!!!! So exciting!!!!

Our weekend was pretty good. We spent a lot of time at the pool, and just needed a little stock up groceries.

    So Friday- $0

Saturday- groceries $50, redbox movie $0 (had a free code emailed to me)

    Sunday- $0

so for the weekend we spent $50

  • The only appliance that came with our house was a dishwasher (which the inspector tested and said turned on, but we have yet to verify how functional it is with washing dishes)....everything else we're going to have to buy. Hoping to get some sweet deals from Craigslist for Washer & Dryer, already found reasonably priced air conditioners on there!

  • DH worked all weekend (he works 14hr shifts overnight) so it was pretty good!

Friday: New dress for upcoming vacation $17

    Saturday: Groceries $30

Sunday: Misc items at Dollar Store- $15

    Total: $62

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • Saturday:

    Admission to the zoo: $45

    Ride on the carousel: $2

Feed stick for the birds $2

    Soda: $2.50

Lunch (not at the zoo): ~$30

    Sunday:

CVS crap (razor blades, face wash, etc.) $55 after coupons

Overall it wasn't too bad. The zoo was a huge waste of money. DD didn't give two sh*ts about the animals, she just wanted to ride the carousel and play on the playground.

  • Bought a new car... so I am not even going to add up all the other little things.
  • Friday: $30 -- lunch, a round of drinks and a cab ride to a meeting that I can probably expense later

Saturday:  $193 (ouch) -- boyfriend's birthday present, a trip for essentials at CVS and another cab because we were running late.

Sunday: $25.94 -- takeout during a marathon grad school cram session.

So ups and downs, but at least I'd planned for the birthday gift purchase and it didn't totally wipe out my bank account!

  • Friday we went out to a movie and had dinner- so that was $38

    Saturday we stayed home

    Sunday I went for a mani/pedi so $50

    Weekend was $88 then!
