My MIL is coming for a visit around the 4th of July and we were thinking of taking a trip to Idlewild. I was just looking at their website and it says:
"Children that cannot walk independently to the ride, disabilities excluded, are considered Hand Held Infants. Most rides and attractions cannot accommodate Hand Held Infants".
G walks well, but he obviously couldn't climb up on to a ride by himself. Would he be considered a Hand Held Infant? The reason I'm confused is b/c there are quite a few rides that he meets the height requirement for (we would ride with him regardless) and some of the rides say that if under X" tall, accompanied by an adult.
He's going to be 16 months when we planned to go, Is he too little?
Re: Idlewild - Hand Held Infants?
You should be fine. They just need to see him walk. When we were at Idlewild last month, T carried M onto the motorcycle ride and they questioned to make sure she could walk.
M was about the same age as G at our first trip to Idlewild. There is quite a lot he can ride in the Kiddle land section. I'm not sure about the larger rides since M is still a shortie and under 32 inches.
Have fun!
