Hello,
I would like some advice on an invitation. I am planning to throw my sister a Going away party as she will be joining her husband who is stationed in Florida in August. They are newlyweds and I would like to make this like a housewarming party as well since unfortunately our family will not be there to have one. I am having custom invitations made and currently have "Lily will be joining Tommy in Florida so let's send her off in style! Please join us as we celebrate the beginning of their newest chapter" I don't know if this implies enough that it is like a housewarming party I am trying not to be tacky so any advice would be helpful.
Many thanks!!!
Re: Housewarming/Going away invitation wording
I don't really get housewarming out of that.
Also, does she have travel space for a bunch of gifts?
I agree - It doenst sound like a housewarming invitation- maybe check out some of the invitations here for some ideas: http://www.zazzle.com/house+warming+invitations
