Re: Weekend Plans????
After an eventful few days I'm looking forward to a whole lot of nothing
Will probably end up at the movies on Sunday to see Monsters University with the kid
Toddler dinner party ttonight
saturday- brooks has a birthday party to attend and John has nerd day from 1pm-1am
sunday - dinner at the in laws and taking the kayak that Johm built to our niece. I can't wait to see her face!
Tonight--DH and I adopted a dog last weekend, so we are starting a 6 week obedience class tonight.
Tomorrow--Possibly getting together with a friend for lunch.
Sunday--no plans yet.
Tonight: Dinner with one of DH's business friends and wife (who happens to be an OB at Penn). I feel bad for the wife already. DH is going off the deep end over concern for my health right now and I have a feeling he's going to interrogate this poor woman tonight. He needs to take it down a notch. He's stressing me out way more than my pesky placenta at the moment!
Rest of the weekend....no clue, no plans! After two crazy past weekends, we have nothing scheduled that we HAVE to go to. Lots of fun options though from art festivals to flea markets though I should probably just rest and relax.
Well, tonight I am hoping to stay up until 10:00 to hang with SIL and family who are flying in tonight. But DD was up 3-5am this morning for no other reason than to party. DH and I took turns trying to get her to sleep but she wasn't having it. I'm so tired.
Tomorrow - pool party/BBQ at our house to with H's family. It will be DD's first time in our pool, and H is really excited to take her swimming.
Sunday - cleaning up from the party and relaxing. Probably going to bed early to make up for the lack of sleep I'll get Fri/Sat
I am super pumped for this weekend!
Today: leaving work in approximately an hour and a half to go meet DH at a local park for his company picnic. He took the kiddo to work today.
Tomorrow: dropping the kiddo off with MIL and DH and I are heading downtown for our birthday staycation. We scored a hotel room around the Rittenhouse area, have reservations at Butcher and Singer and will see where the night takes us.
Sunday: possibly brunch then pick up the kiddo and maybe head to the park or something equally fun.
Have fun! Might I suggest Parc for brunch???
Thanks!! Duly noted
Tonight: Nada
Tomorrow: Hopefully getting a baby pool and/or water table for DS so we can play outside. Then dropping him off with the ILs so we can go out to dinner in the city (going to stalk 0602 at B&S).
Sunday: I want to get moving on figuring out what we need for vacation, and then shopping for anything important that I come up with.
Shore bound
Enjoy the first official summer week end!
mzovoce- what is a nerd party?
Jessica- Happy anniversary!!!
Tonight- B&B for a friend's husband who went in for what they thought would be a "minor" brain surgery (I know... that's never minor) which turned out unexpectedly and he is still in a brain trauma center now, two and a half months later!
Tomorrow- DH is out of town so I'm going to try to keep DS entertained all day. We may go to a friend's and use her pool although I am not sure if I even have a swim suit that fits now :-(
Sunday- relaxing and possibly putting together our new patio furniture and hanging out back.
