Why are you happy it's Friday?
I don't think we have any plans tonight. But tomorrow I'll get the grocery shopping and cleaning done in the morning. Then we are staying at a hotel downtown tomorrow night. We'll go out for a nice dinner, a couple drinks. Then we're going to the zoo Sunday. I'm pretty excited! DH's birthday is next week, so it's my treat.

Friday is my day off so it's always good
This weekend is my last weekend of work until October. I'm super pumped! But that also sets in the panic because that means my due date is coming up quickly.
Oh man TGIF. It's been a looooong week.
I'm babysitting for a coworker tonight (he's got the cutest kids!) and having a picnic lunch with DH tomorrow. Besides that, I'm hoping for a lot of pool sitting and book reading. And this time next week we'll be at the beach! Can't wait!
DH has been out of town for work the last few days and gets back tonight, so I'm super excited for that. Also work has been a little crazy this week, so I'm glad it's almost over and I can relax this weekend.
No major plans this weekend. We picked up some things for the house right before DH left, so I'll get that stuff set up and I want to hang a few pictures on the walls. I'm also thinking a trip to Six Flags maybe Sunday to get some use out of our season passes. AND we have dinner with some new friends Saturday night which we are pretty excited about.

Yes, Jurbs, when are you due??
In the weekend of my dreams I am sipping pina coladas poolside ALL WEEKEND, while taking breaks to go see "The Bling Ring" and "World War Z."
In reality, we're putting the finishing touches on the house so it can be put up for sale on Thursday. That means painting and cleaning the basement, cleaning windows and the yard, getting some carpet installed, and sewing some curtains. I seriously can not WAIT until it gets on the market.

Yay Jurbs! So close!
I don't really have anything planned this weekend. I've been home by myself all week so I'm just glad H will be around. He keeps laughing at me because he comes home after work and I talk so much because I haven't talked to anyone all day :P
DH is going out to his mom's cabin this weekend for a mini family reunion, but I lucked out by having Taylor Swift tickets for tomorrow, so I have a good excuse to not go out with him!
So tonight will be pretty low-key. Tomorrow I am shopping with my best friend and her daughter/my honourary niece. Then the concert in the evening. Sunday my sister and I are going to see Star Trek.
We're going to a gelato making class tonight. We're excited (mostly because our friend that went to this one was sent home with about 5 pints of gelato lol).
This weekend will mostly be spent packing up our apartment. Just over a month til we move, but I know I'll be of little help, especially in a month so we're trying to get as much done now as possible, even if it means living amongst boxes for a few weeks. At this point I can still lift things (within reason), but for the actual move I'll basically just be pointing to where the boxes/furniture/etc need to go.

I work both Saturday and Sunday. Boo. DH isn't thrilled either. I keep telling myself it's ok because we need the money for medical expenses.

Apparently buy a really expensive machine lol Well, not really but you need a gelato maker (not an ice cream maker) and the home versions can be over $1000! But there was one we saw online for under $200 so we may buy it as a housewarming gift to ourselves lol.
This place combines the gelato making techniques of north & south Italy, so they use milk and cream. Then you mix in sugar and a bunch of other stuff and then whatever flavors you're using. It wasn't hard, but I don't know how easy/cheap it is to get the ingredients!
