"To who, to whom, to you that's whom!..."
"So learn how to take a compliment alright?"
I don't want it to be Monday. I was having dreams I was pirating around with Capt Jack and Will Turner. We watched Pirates #2 before I went to bed.
We were pretty productive this weekend. Our china cabinet is finally filled and completed, we discovered we actually have a floor in our office, and got to skype with the niece and discovered we may be able to help get BIL a job down here. Please oh please!

Re: "To who, to whom, to you that's whom!..."
Good morning! I feel ya on this Monday thing. I woke up exhausted and have a ton of errands to do before work. They all need to get done but many aren't going to happen.
Please come back weekend.
I don't know this quote :-(
We finished painting our bedroom and taped out where the new wall will be upstairs. We hung some pictures. Moving in takes months, huh?
Oh, and ya know, I met Aggie.
I don't know this quote either...
Beanie, I saw the picture and it looks awesome!
Joy and Aggie, hope you guys had fun!
My weekend was pretty exciting. I had so much fun at the concert. I could have done without 98 Degrees, though. They weren't all that spectacular. And I couldn't help but laugh because when they were up there, I kept thinking...one of these things is not like the other. That one guy doesn't look like he belongs with the other three. He seemed kind of awkward.
And I almost got into a fight. At a New Kids concert. H said he saw her hold up a fist and she looked like she wanted to punch me. I didn't see it. She had to have been high, though. There's no way she wasn't.
If I knew how to post pictures, I'd post one here. But since we're all on fb, you'll see them there when I post them. I also took quite a few videos. And I used my phone so much, it died on the way back to the hotel. And that sucks because I needed Waze because we made a detour to Wawa and it was the wrong one and not the one H thought we were going to. And he was using Google Maps on his phone and thought it was wrong, so by the time we got back to the hotel, it was 1am. We were both so tired.

Joy! I am so glad we got to meet up. You are nothing like I imagine and yet exactly like I imagined.
All in a very good way.
Philly was fun this weekend, wish we had gotten to stay a little longer.
Oh no! Now I'm all curious what you imagined! You very much like I imagined!
Phils got routed yesterday. BOO. I hope you guys had a good time in Philly!
Morning! I have no idea what this movie is. I will have to look it up later. We had a good weekend. H family came over Sat. evening. I got to see both my nieces so that was good. It was good to catch up with his dad's side of the family. MIL was over 1 1/2 hours late. This is SOP for anything to do with FIL side of the family. SO RUDE!! On Sun. we went and looked at the dog. We decided we aren't going to get a dog. He was extremely cute though and it was hard to say no when you looked at his cute puppy face. we came home to our niece swimming in the pool! She is so cute. And I got to watch my other niece sleep. We are having dinner with them on Tue. I am hoping I get to hold her. She is so small and snuggly!
Joy/Aggie: So Jealous! I am glad you guys had fun!
Kris: Glad you had fun as well. I think part of me would have like 98 Degrees. I remember the music video they had with Screech (Spelling, Save By The Bell).
BB: I saw the pic of the cabinet. It looks wonderful! I need to fit more glasses in mine, maybe I could hire you to rearrange mine. Good Luck to BIL!!
Your personality was quite like I imagined, but your voice in my head was different.
You were also a little shorter than I imagined- but I know I was taller than you expected too lol! It just funny how you give someone a voice and features after years of "knowing" them on line.
And yes your pitcher and center fielder had an abysmal game yesterday. Did you know a player almost hit for the cycle yesterday? The Met's Wright had 2 doubles, a triple and a home run. Ironically if only one of his doubles was just a single...
Ah, yes. I am short - only 5'4''. My husband is only an inch taller than me so I suppose that makes pictures of us deceptive :-) You were much taller than I imagined!! Haha.
Stupid David Wright.
Did you actually see Ben Revere drop the ball? Jay and I were yelling at the TV over that one, but I understand where the ump was coming from.
Morning all!
Joy&Aggie - I'm so jealous you girls got to meet!! Sounds like you had a good time!
Kris - Glad you had fun at the concert! Was it just filled with ladies all around your age? That's what I picture in my head at a NKOTB reunion tour. haha!
BB - I saw the picture of your chine cabinet, it looks so nice! That's what I want ours to look like, but right now it's just filled with mismatched things.
Degrea - What finally made you guys decide no on the dog? Also I'd be so mad if someone was over 1 1/2 hours late when meeting. It annoys me to no end when people are late for stuff.
We had a pretty nice weekend. Friday was SOO much fun! I got to see my old friend which was amazing!!!! And I also got to see an old professor and her twin boys who I used to babysit. They are 5 now. They still remembered me, and when we went to her house they were showing off. hahah! When we had to leave I told the boys I was leaving and asked for hugs and the one said to me "Why do you have to leave?" I just wanted to stay forever.
Saturday we wen to our Church festival. It was small, but nice. They had a wine wheel. You paid 50cents and got a number, then they spun the wheel and if it landed on your number you won. I won on the first number I picked! hahah!
Yesterday we had a fire in the evening. We had our one friend over and one of the upstairs neighbors came down, too, which was really nice because we've never really hung out with our neighbors.
my read shelf:
It's a sequel to a very famous and classic 1950's set musical.
I'm jealous of that meet up!!
Thanks for the china cabinet love. I had it done on Saturday, and then Sunday MIL handed over the crystal that we inherited from H's gmother. I am proud to say nothing broke! At least, not by my doing.
I'm trying to find a picture of the crystal we got.
I love crystal. I'd love to have it. I'd also love to have pretty china. But alas, no where to put such things right now. Maybe in the future!
Morning y'all! For some reason I think I'm southern this morning. I feel like I should know this quote but I can't think of it.
BB - I loved your cabinet and it looks great with all your china in it. Where did you buy it?
Aggie and Joy - so glad you ladies had fun! Also, now I'm curious how tall you are Aggie!
Kris - glad you had fun at the concert (even if you almost got punched!) Do you know why the girl was mad at you?
Degrea - sounds like a good weekend with your nieces
I love little sleeping babies (when they are awake, they terrify me but sleeping they are cute!)
jlq - congrats on winning your wine and so happy you had fun with your friend!
We had a pretty low key weekend (as per usual). We had our new garage door installed on Friday and it looks great. It's so quiet! And very, very beige (which is a good thing! No more maroon door for us). We also ran a ton of errands and I went on a major clothes shopping spree yesterday. I had a ton of giftcards left over from birthdays and Christmas and whatnotso I'll be rocking new tops all week
Oh and I finished the Harry Potter audiobook on Friday. It was good and I'll probably listen to at least the second book to see what that one is like. I had seen the movie of the first book so nothing was all that surprising which probably impacted what I thought of it. I'm curious to see what I truly think of the second book without knowing anything about it.
my read shelf:
It was bought at an estate sale for super cheap. We weren't even thinking of getting one yet, but FIL said "hey, we found one, so here!" Yes please!
You are slowly coming over to the dark side.
EEE! I'm so glad you finished the first book and are considering the second one! Many say the second one is the weakest in the series, but I still think it's great. Everyone's bloody favorite is the third book so do try to keep an open mind and get to that one!
My personal favorite has and always will be the fourth book.
Degrea, it's fun to watch babies sleep, isn't it?
Glad you had fun with your nieces!
J, congrats on the win! If you have to win anything, wine would be up there on the list. And glad you had fun with your friend!
E, go! Go listen to the second HP!
As to why the girl was mad at me? I kept poking her. She was in the row ahead of me and she kept standing on her chair, which blocked my entire view. So every time she stood up on her chair, I'd poke her to get down. Security even came over once and told her to get down. At the end of the concert, she got mad and turned around and yelled at me. And I think it made her angrier that I didn't yell back or anything. I told her I wasn't moving and pointed over her head and told her she was missing everything. Ha!
