Rose Lovers, come in!!

I have to admit, this season has been kind of a snooze-fest.  I'm still having trouble telling the guys apart, and honestly, no one is really standing out to me so far.

thoughts?

Re: Rose Lovers, come in!!

  • I agree, even the so-called drama feels like it's been done before. One contestant has a girlfriend back home, another is just there to promote his business, another is hoping to be the next Bachelor. Maybe it has just all been done at this point. Although, I have to say, Bryden crashing her one-on-one is at least original. But even that sort of ended anti-climatically.

And what is up with every single date including promotion of a different artist? And all of the colored hoodies with white draw strings? Did American Apparel sponsor this season?

Brooks is my front runner. I like Chris, but then he keeps pulling out the poetry. She seems into it, but if someone wrote me a poem, I'd want them to just give it to me to read later. It's awkward when someone is repeatedly forcing their poetry on you during dates like that. Zak is actually funny, but he's not physically my type (and he appears to be the contestant who's lying about his age this season, no way is he only 31).

  • I was shocked that she sent Ben home.  As soon as the two on one was decided I thought "welp, good bye Michael!"  I can't believe the "villain" (Who really wasn't much of one!)  was sent home so early.   I also think Michael seemed so douchey on that date...and he's whiney or something. I don't like him - he can be good looking, but he's wimpy. (in full disclosure, something about him reminds me of my ex-fiance, so that probably contributes to a lot of my dislike feelings towards him!)  I like Brooks and Chris, too.  But I do agree I can do without the poetry.  It's not my thing at all - but Des eats it up!

It turns me off so much when the men gossip.

YES.  It makes them all come across as whiny and insecure.  Who wants to see that?!

I agree about Chris the poetry guy...I mean, it's cool & all, don't get me wrong...but just not my thing when someone is going to read it out loud to me.

*sigh* I'm still mourning the loss of Bachelor Pad.  Crying

  • I don't even like mushy cards...so a guy reading me mushy poetry that he wrote for me would make me so uncomfortable!
  • Emmy, I second everything you said in the initial post. I honestly don't know one guy from the other unless it's Brooks because of his hair. This season is BORING.

  • I haven't watched this yet, it's all on DVR...based on how boring you think it is, I might just skip it and just watch the finale!

In other Bachelor news...remember Reid from Jillian's season of Bachelorette?  His brother is a contestant on the next Food Network star.  I know this because I may or may not be friends with Reid on FB.  Jillian is also a host on the HGTV show Love It or List It.
