Getting a pedicure before I had Amelia was one of my favorite baby-related decisions;) Seriously - everyone at the hospital commented on how pretty my feet looked and when I was there and feeling HUGE and in pain, it was such a small thing that felt so good to have a compliment like that. The male anesthesiologist even noticed them and commented on how nice my feet looked as I was being wheeled into surgery and, whether he meant it or not, it was a really nice distraction when I was scared to be going into surgery! So, just sending out my unsolicited thought that it's a GREAT decision to go get one;)

I did the same thing, too, Christina! The salon wouldn't give me the full massage part though b/c they said it might induce labor....but I think they did just enough....I had Madeleine just 2 days after my pedi!
Thanks Lillian! I usually don't get them in the winter but thought it would be one thing that could be pretty when I'm feeling so NOT pretty.
I'm sorry that I haven't replied to your email yet. I wanted to meet up this week but time is just getting away from me. Our dear friend suffered a great loss of his mother last week so we'll be traveling for her funeral tomorrow. Then the rest of my week is squished with work appts. Let's look at our schedules for the next 2 weeks and could you email me a time that would be good for you if you're open at all? Thanks!

Jill, that sounds perfect! Where did you go? I was thinking Changes but their mini (very short, no massage) pedicure is $40.
