Apparently my administrator told my coworkers and some kids/families at a graduation party on sunday that I was looking to leave the school. After I called yesterday to tell him it was offered to me, he went on facebook complaining about me leaving/having to interview again.
How professional.
Just solidifies I am doing the right thing. But, it really stinks to feel like I burned a bridge. People suck sometimes.

This may be in OU territory, but if you really feel the need to tell everyone you know that you are pissed at one person, what does that really say about you as person, maturity level and all? Keep in mind, I'm talking minutia fights, where people think that they are right, disagree with someone or that what someone else said about them actually matters - not life altering trauma. I include break ups in this category as well.
Your ex-boss is coming across like he's throwing a temper tantrum. You definitely made the right decision to leave. Enjoy your new job and being away from him
