Amanda

Boston Terriers are insane! Good thing that he is so cute because he is a devilish little thing.

Plus, is there a way to take out the batteries? Seriously, we took both dogs on a walk, Bruce the American Bulldog was done for the rest of the night. Mortimer on the other hand was still full of energy. We walked for an hour and he kept right up with Bruce the entire time.

Re: Amanda

  • This does not surprise me at all! Bella is like that. She can just keep on keeping on. My FIL tried to wear her out with fetch once when she was a puppy while K and I went to a funeral.  When we got back he was still playing, she never gave up. And still, at 9 years old she will play fetch in the yard for quite a while (with pool breaks of course!).  Mo on the other hand is more chill. He is done playing in 15 seconds. He has other annoying qualities. But Bostons are active, and think they are big dogs.

to make mine settle down I cover them with a blanket on the couch. They like to burrow under the covers. With Mo I just throw it over him when he is annoying.

  • Butting in*** we had Boston's growing up and my mom has 2. One is 13 and the other is just turning 1. She actually sends the puppy to doggie daycare so he will leave Mollie alone in the evenings!!

Her dogs love to burrow under the covers too.

    Ok butting out*** :)

  • Rona, no problem!

He is constantly trying to get Bruce to play and Bruce is so not into him! Don't get me wrong, he is super tolerant but after a while I think Mortie licking his lips gets annoying! Especially since he was used to a lazy 14 y/o lab and now he has a 14 week old puppie!

I have discovered the whole blankie thing works with him. Funny thing is, it works amazingly with the bulldog too!

  • Those pictures of the two of them are priceless though! they are just so cute together!
