What is everyone up to this weekend? It doesn't look like it will be a very sunny one, but at least it's the weekend!
Re: Weekend Plans - TGIF!
We did have fun plans this weekend, but are putting them off thanks to the rain.
Tonight - I have to run to the mall and will probably get a pedicure. Then it's the usual of take out/grill out and a movie. (Looking for recommondations if you have any!)
Saturday - Trail run in the morning, birthday lunch for a friend, Mason has a birthday party to go to, then probably hanging out with neighbors that night.
Sunday - No plans! The first time in months that we have a weekend day free. I was hoping to go to the pool, but it looks like we'll be cleaning our carpets instead. Yahoo!
Tonight was supposed to be nothing, but we just found out my dad has Lyme Disease. They think they caught it early enough that the prognosis is good, but he's still incredibly sick so we're taking their tickets to a wine tasting tonight. He seems to be feeling slightly better today, which is a step in the right direction.
Tomorrow I'm dancing in the McDonald parade and then we're hanging out with some people we happen to know in McDonald who live right near the parade route (*cough, Gwen, cough, cough*)
Sunday we're supposed to be having a vacation planning meeting at our friends' house, but that's all depending on how my dad is feeling.
I thought yesterday was Friday, so TGIF again I suppose.
The first three weeks of July are very full, so one of my priorities is to get caught up on laundry and dishes. And our cleaning person comes Wednesday, so we need to motivate the kids to clean up their rooms and the craft area in the dining room.
Next weekend is camping, so I need to organize and pack up the cooking and cleaning supplies (DH does tent, lights, chairs, etc) and make the master packing list.
Tonight - keep working on all of that stuff above.
Saturday - kids have swim lessons and DH & I are going out to dinner with friends.
Sunday - T has a birthday party in the afternoon.
Tonight-Maybe go see the Bling Ring with my sisters
Saturday-clean up my disaster of a house. Though I think I may have to go to Oakmont Bakery first and get myself a doughsent for energy. I also need to go to Target and Sam's Club
Sunday-no plans. Maybe go get a pedicure
Tonight - the usual - pizza and just hang out.
Tomorrow - no plans during the day. In the evening I'm going to a friend's house for appetizers and wine, and to start to talk about plans for a girls weekend trip next year when we all turn a certain age that I don't want to talk about.
Sunday - no plans right now. DH and I have a living social wine and cheese thing to use, so I may see if someone will babysit the kids so we can use that.
Today I am meeting a really old friend for dinner--she moved to Virginia a few years ago and doesn't make it home much. this time she's here for a week so she is swinging by the burgh.
Tomorrow DD and I are going to a bridal shower.
Sunday--likely more packing. We're VERY close now, and we should have the keys by July 3rd as long as the final inspection goes well. This is the longest most drawn out process ever, but I already feel so at home in our new house. We go over there daily to roll around on the carpet and check our garden.
TGIF!
Two weeks down without DH, only 2-3 more! *sigh* I'm wrecked!
This afternoon we have a play date - hoping that wears Conall out; he exhausts me with his energy. (Maybe I can get him and Bella and Mortimer together for a play date?! We could take bets on who'd outlast the others?)
Tonight: I really need to pack up a couple of totes and get a few more things listed on CL.
Saturday: Target run for doubling up coupons on baby diapers and wipes, and such. In the late afternoon, my neighbor is supposed to take the older two up to their camp, as they have an RV and the campground has lots of kids activities. Looking forward to a quiet 24hrs with just the baby! More packing, maybe order dinner in... maybe take him for a pedicure with me... heavenly.
Sunday: pack more boxes and probably wash sheets until the boys get home!
Enjoy everyone!
My three sons!
Tonight - Hayden & I are meeting my parents to get Nolan back.
Tomorrow - we were going to go swimming, but since the weather isn't looking too good, I'm not sure. Tomorrow evening we are heading to the church festival up the street.
Sunday - berry picking at Triple B in the morning and then just hanging out at my parents house while Gary goes golfing.
NO PLANS!!!
Just got home a bit ago and am getting myself in order, Dh doesn't really have anything going on tonight. So I am thinking maybe we will go out and grab something to eat and see Monsters U tonight since we were busy last weekend and couldn't go...
Tomorrow I plan on doing laundry and finishing up some organizing in the nursery. Might try to meet up with my sister to get my Origami Owl order at some point.
I would also like to go out and get the favors and few remaining things I need for Adams Party next Sunday. Order the fruit, veggies, and balloons so its one less thing to do during the week. I have to work all week, have a Dr. apt Wed. and will need to get to the grocery store and do some food prep and baking before Sunday!
I started planning way ahead since it was so close to baby time, but now I am still feeling a bit rushed!! not to mention still missing some RSVP's...grrr.

The boys have gone to my mother's for the weekend so packing, packing and more packing. Maybe some transfer of boxes to a storage unit.
But hey at least it sounds like our inspection turned out well! So we have a house. Maybe a few minor fixes but yay!
