How was everyone's weekend? How is today going so far?
I did fine eating this weekend, but didn't work out at all because I wasn't feeling very well (fighting off a cold of some sort).
Today:
B: Whole Foods Apple Cinnamon oatmeal (I recommend--so good)
S: Grapefruit
L: Leftover oven fried "chicken" and mashed potatoes (recipe in blog!)
S: Soy yogurt
Boca burgers, potato wedges, salad

Re: (#) Monday check in!
Even though I have been sick for a over a week, I think I am doing pretty well when I did have an appetite I was pretty much sticking to my points. Did go over a few times because there's nothing like a hot chocolate from Starbucks / Panera / Borders to soothe a sore throat.
my read shelf:
I'm doing OK, but not great. Too many damn holiday parties and whatnot. Tonight, we are going out with an old coworker of DH's who's in town, tomorrow is DH's birthday so we are going out for that, Thursday night I have another food event...it's never ending.
But, I've been eating yogurt for breakfast every morning, which I'm discovering keeps me less hungry all day than cereal or toast. Pasta salad for lunch today. I'll probably have an orange or some fruit this afternoon. Not sure yet where we are going for dinner.
My weekend was eh. I worked out, but I did not practice moderation at my work party on friday and I was a little down yesterday and gorged on junk food during Survivor.
Today is another day, though! I decided I need a concrete fitness goal, so I'm going to start running. Think I'll try Couch 2 5K since I can run for about 5 minutes and that's it at this point.
B: oatmeal, grapes
S: green pepper, hummus
L: Salad w/ grilled chicken
S: string cheese, apple
Exercise: body pump class tonight!
I have been doing great, except that we made Christmas cookies yesterday, so I know I tasted those a little too much. I weigh-in tonight, and I was close to using up all my flex points before baking, so now I'm nervous. I didn't exercise Saturday, but I did my step aerobics DVD yesterday, and today I did a shortened step workout while watching my morning MSNBC.
B - smoothie
S - Kashi bar and 2 cookies (somebody else brought cookies to work, too...dammit!)
L - big salad with chicken, cheese, and low-fat dressing
S - clementines...this bag is never-ending
D - I dunno. The H hasn't decided on fish/roasted sweet potatoes/veg or chicken & veggie stir fry with spicy sauce and rice noodles
Yeah. Did you see the menu I posted for my party on Saturday? I did a lot of eating of said appetizers and desserts. Oh, so worth it
I walked 2 miles today to my PT, which will be most of my exercise for the week. I'm singing in the Messiah at the Kennedy Center, and we have rehearsal every ngiht from 7-10, then concerts for four days in a row. Not much time to hit the gym. But, I have done a bunch of shopping and cooking so that I have healthful meals for lunch and dinner each day.
B: oatmeal, skim milk
L: whole wheat pasta w/meat sauce, broccoli
S: skim latte, banana
Again, mad props to everyone. This time of year is so hard!
