How much spotting, if any, is normal?
I had a little bit on Sunday. It was pinkish brown. TMI: only when I wiped and one time.
Today, a little more of the same.
It's enough that I'm worried, but not enough to do anything, right?
Congrats to my TTC buddy Madeline!

Re: How much spotting, if any, is normal?
Not enough to do anything. It's easier said than done, but I wouldn't add any extra worry because of this... especially if it's brown.
Drink lots of water and lay down if you can.
I had this as well. Just a couple times but it's enough to scare you for sure. Any amount of pink, brown, or red is just scary.
The first time it happened with me, I didn't do anything because it was so little and it went away on it's own. Never any in my underwear or anything. Only when I wiped.
It happened a few days after that again so I called the doctor and they had me come in just for a check. Mostly to ease my nerves about it all. They did an ultrasound and everything was fine at that point. I was only 5w/5d at that point so it was still so early.
Here is a little more TMI for you...
Also, I was told that if you strain to go #2, that can cause spotting as well because your cervix is still very low and close to the rectum. So, by straining to go, it puts pressure on the cervix and can cause spotting. This happened to me at around 11 weeks as well but that was some red/orange spotting and more than the earlier spotting.
Try not to stress it too much (I know, easier said than done) but spotting like this can be completly normal.
If you start to really stress, it won't hurt to call and talk to a nurse or doctor. I did that a few times early pregnancy and they always made me feel better.
Hang in there LB!

This is a very good point.
Hoping it goes away soon, lb!
I am of no help but I am wishing that its nothing and that it goes away soon. Try to lay down and drink water
I had bright red on and off for several weeks. RE and OB both said they didn't need to see me unless I had cramping or clotting. (Not that those necessarily mean there's a problem--in fact, I did have mild cramping initially.)
I had some brown spotting with DS, and my doctor said it was probably "old blood" and not to worry. Easier said than done.
Drinking lots of water and resting can't hurt.
