Rants: BIL owes us about $200 and we have yet to get paid and not to mention this has all accumulated over the past 3 months. That could very well pay my electric bill one month.
Raves: This week went by fast and it's Friday!
Weekend Plans: Tonight I'm hoping to finalize our wedding book which includes parent books. Tomorrow H and I are dropping my car off for an oil change and then cleaning the house mostly laundry and ordering some furniture. And Sunday my mom and some friends are coming over to do invites and put together some items with me.
Rants/Raves: This is both. H just got back from a week's vacation, worked yesterday and is now off until Monday, he'll work 3 days (granted they're 12+ hour shifts) and then have 5 days off. Plus he's salary now, so it's not affecting his pay. I kind of (jokingly) hate him!
WP: Not sure now that H has the weekend off. I have to do the usual grocery shopping & cleaning, but we're going to try and do some fun stuff this weekend. His cousin is in town for work so we might try and meet up with her. The rest of our plans depend on the weather.
Plans: I have to get the oil in my car changed at some point, and then the usual errands. We're also going to the town carnival this weekend, but not sure which day yet.
Rants: I really want to renovate our basement, but we're waiting another month or so just so we can save a bit more money for the project. But I just want it done- now.
Raves: The annual lake house get-together with H's family is next weekend and I CAN'T WAIT!
Weekend Plans: Getting an oil change in the morning (fun fun) then doing some shopping for a bday party and shower I have to go to next weekend. Not much else planned!
Rants: We're not getting our paychecks until Monday this week, which sucks big time...
Raves: It's Friday! and my week actually kinda flew by!

WP- LOL H is changing the oil in my car. I have a ton of homework for school. We are taking the mustang to a car cruise tonight and are tossing around going to the dirt track races tomorrow night ( not really my thing but H loves it, so I play along). and the usualy grocery store run, laundry, cleaning etc.
Raves- Not sure it's a rave, but I totally played hooky from work, something I never do and slept in this morning. I feel like a new person, I think I was getting run down.
Rants: H's terrible SA results and I have to worry all weekend about my test on Monday.
I was also thinking this, haha
Weekend Plans: Working tomorrow. Not sure what we will do on Sunday. Probably do some meal planning, as I am navigating my way through Paleo. And Monday I am going to go Macy's and see if I can get a pt job with them, since I will be leaving my job next month. I worked for the company a long time, so I am sure they'll take me back. I hope.
Rants: You all are just getting oil changes, but I just spent $1500 on my car for 90k service and brakes

Raves: Started my new "diet" and feeling pretty good.

Weekend Plans - I'm watching my bosses dogs this weekend (they stay at the clinic but I come by to let them out/feed them). I'm also treating a dog this weekend with our therapy laser. He came in yesterday and couldn't move his back end so we're hoping that between the high dose of steroids and laser treatments that he'll get movement back. Right now it is a 50/50 chance but we're staying positive.
Rants - My H is leaving for 2 weeks today and I'm not looking forward to it
I hate it when he is gone and so do the dogs.
Raves - I get paid for taking care of my bosses dogs so it'll be a nice extra $150 to help with the bridal shower I mentioned earlier
Weekend plans - we're going to a minor league baseball game tonight. We have two BBQs tomorrow and church on Sunday.
Rants - Aunt Flow came to town today for the first time since I got pregnant and she's killing me. This sucks.
Raves- Our house is FINALLY going up on the market this weekend! I'm so ready to sell this place and move on.

Weekend Plans: Unlike most of you, I will not be getting an oil change. I really don't know what I am doing this weekend. My husband is on call tonight and tomorrow, so that limits what we can do. We might watch a movie tonight or tomorrow. Sunday, we might go on an adventure...like swimming at a friend's pool or something. It will probably be a lazy weekend. Maybe I will accomplish something on my summer to do list.
Raves/Rants: My mom and one of her co-workers (who is a friend of mine) came and had lunch with me today. I live 1 hour and 10 mins away from them. My other rave was that last night my husband and I went to our neighbors house to see the 4 week old aire doodle puppies. They were so cute. I will write a post with a picture of the adorableness. My rant is that my husband is on call tonight and tomorrow. It is always difficult to plan stuff when he is on call because we never know if he will get a call and have to go out.
Plans: I am spending the weekend at my parent's new condo, enjoying some family time before work takes over my life. I think the plan is to get together with my brother and SIL, 3-yr old niece and 2 month old nephew tomorrow
Rants: I got pulled over today (first time ever!) and got a speeding ticket
Literally like 20 feet before the limit changed from 55 to 65, and I had just turned on my cruise (set at 70) after I saw the sign so I got clocked at 70 in a 55. The guy only gave me one for 65 in a 55 so it won't go on my record. Ugh.
Raves: I got the speeding ticket because I finally got my pharmacist license! I had to make it up, through rush hour traffic, to get it officially stamped in Minneapolis. I made it with 5 minutes to spare! Happy to finally be done with this nightmare of a process. The speeding ticket was the icing on the cake.
Weekend plans: Have a couples shower tomorrow for DHs cousin and the farrier is coming in the morning to trim the horses nails. Hoping she comes early enough that I can make a stop by the ILS pool before the shower. Otherwise we are working on the house.
Raves: I had today off! Our bathroom remodel is almost done, our house has been painted, and I started working on our guest room today! Feeling very productive lately!
