I've flown with Frontier twice in the last 3 weeks. The first time (right before Thanksgiving), they broke my car seat, which was only 2 months old. They tried to hassle me about filing a claim, but I asked for their written damage policy and pointed out that my carseat was not excluded. (Not to mention they also punctured my suitcase and broke an important piece off my stroller, but those things are "wear and tear" and were specifically excluded.)
We just got back from another Frontier flight last night, and although I was hesitant to check my (brand new) car seat again, we really had no choice. Can you f'ing believe they broke it AGAIN???? I was livid!! It was 18 below zero when we landed, the entire city was a sheet of ice, and I had no choice but to drive my child home in a broken car seat. They are DAMN lucky nothing happened on the way home!! Oh, and not to mention they also broke a piece off of DH's suitcase this time.
So, to recap - three weeks, two suitcases, two car seats and a stroller all broken by Frontier. They are negligent to the point of recklessness and I WILL be getting money from them!
