Re: How MM was your weekend?

  • We spent kind of a lot this weekend.

Friday -  $1 because I can't get DH to kick his "I'll just go out and buy a soda" habit

Saturday - $270 to fix the brakes on my car, $20 at IHOP while we waited, $115 at the mall while we waited some more (I hate shopping and never buy clothes, so DH took this opportunity to get me to buy some new stuff). Then, in the evening, $4 on moving boxes, $24 on groceries, and $16 at dinner.

    Sunday - $0

    Total - $440

  • Oh boy, this was a spendy weekend for us.

Friday: $12 at the bar (for DH - my friend paid for my drinks)

Saturday: $150 groceries (hosted a party at our house so we bought a bunch of supplies to properly host), $120 at big lots (they were having their 20% off day and we've been waiting to pick some stuff up like more chairs for our dining room table)

Sunday: $50 at a local brewery/restaurant, $86 at Big Lots (went back for more stuff with another 20% off coupon), $6.80 at a frozen yogurt place

    Total: $424.80

Our friend that was staying with us left today, and our housewarming party and all of our initial costs of moving into the house are over and done with, so I'm hoping we can settle back into paying down our debt and saving saving saving.
