Outer Banks question again!
Hi! I posted before about hotels along the way now I wanted to ask if there is a good seafood restaurant we could go to? We are in Corolla but pretty sure we have to go closer to the bridge for a good place to eat?
Oh and I'm sure you will give me an "eye roll" on this but do any of you take your own sheets or just use what's on the bed. Silly question I know!!!
Thanks

Re: Outer Banks question again!
Every house we have rented in the Outer Banks (double digits from Twiddy or , Carolina Designs) has included sheets and bath towels. We always use the sheets they provide. You need to bring your own beach towels and extra toilet paper, paper towels, dish washer detergent, and dish soap (the little bottle provided isn't enough). There are never enough dish towels, so I usually pack a couple of those as well. If you are going to cook, take the spices with you, olive oil and anything else that is recipe specific so you don't have to buy a big thing when you only need 1/2 teaspoon.
As far as seafood restaurants, it has been a couple of years since we stayed in Corolla, so I can't recommend anything up there. Aqua in Duck is good. So is the Blue Point.

I just googled restaurants and saw Aqua. Looks like good food. Always nice to hear where others have eaten. Funny I'm the only one that does not like seafood! As long as they have steak or chicken I'm good
We have sheets at the house I'm just being weird.. lol. I will definitely bring my own pillow and blanket. Thanks ladies!
I'm a total germ-a-phobe! I would bring my own sheets even if they were provided.
We just got back from Corolla yesterday. The restaurants we love are :
Fat crabs- very casual, awesome food- cornbread is to due for!!
North Banks- excellent food. Very small, long wait but totally worth it. Best food we had.
Mike Dianna's - excellent food, more dressy. Took kids there but that was not fun.
Uncle Ike's - casual , great food
we never leave corolla - lots of places to eat and shops to look in right there.
Have fun!!
