Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1. We had a rough night and we are up super early.
2. This means there are cartoons on because Mama is tired. We usually watch the news in the morning but it wasn't even on yet when we woke up.
3. My iced coffee pitcher started leaking yesterday so I have no iced coffee.
4. I don't know if it is teething or a growth spurt or what but my kiddo hasn't been sleeping well for a couple days and she acts like she is hungry but won't hardly eat. The only thing that has helped so far isTylenol.
5. The migraines started back up after 5 days of relief. I try not to take meds if I am going to be sleeping so I have been grinding my teeth and clenching my jaw. My teeth hurt
6. DH's check should be in the mail today! Yay for groceries!
7. Ava Nichol just sneezed and scared our cat so bad he fell off the couch. Haha!
8. I am so hungry but too lazy to get off the couch and make something. Soon the hunger will win and I will make myself a bagel with cream cheese.
9. If it isn't too hot tonight we are going to have tater tot casserolle. If it is hot we will have spaghetti. Our oven really heats up the house when we have to bake something.
10. I need to change Ava Nichol's diaper before she falls back asleep (she wakes up dry most days) so I'm outta Here.

1. I fixed my chipped tooth not that long ago and it just broke. I'm really upset!! FWP!
2. My apartment is so boring!! I am really bad a decorating, I need help!
3. I'm sleepy!
4. I want a tall glass of wine, a michelada or a shot of patron!!
5. I'm still really upset about #1
6. I was watching "Hollywood Exs", I don't even know which girl it is but she wants to adopt a baby and when she tells her mom, her mom acts like a total biotch!! I feel like slapping her!!
7. I can't wait until August, I get to upgrade my phone. Yay
8. I don't think my mom knows that with her iPhone I can see when she reads her texts. She will text me hours later and say she just read it even though I saw that she read it minutes after I sent it :-/ I'm letting it slide though, she has a lot on her mind lately.
9. I can't believe it's already going to be a year since the Aurora Theater shooting. May they all r.i.p.

3. I really am having a hard time staying motivated at work.
4. It's hot this week. Like pushing 100 degrees out. High humidity. Ick!
5. Getting a pedicure tonight and I can not wait!
6. Not feeling the best today. Not sure if it's heart burn or what but feel kind of pukey and HOT. Sweaty and just can't get comfortable!
7. Baby is so active at night. It's turning into my favorite time of day when I can go lay in bed and feel him kick. Makes my heart smile!
8. I was upset that Des gave Zack the boot last night. I really liked him after the hometown visit with him. Even though I cheated and read the spoilers, I still wanted him to stay around a little longer. I wanted her to get rid of Drew.
9. I can't wait for materinity leave. Even though I only get 6 weeks and I know it's not a vacation, I just need a break from work.

I Agree!! The Conjuring freaks me out EVERY time!!! And it seems to be on a lot. One of the downfalls of not having a DVR. Can't fast forward commercials....

1. I have tried to stay away from coffee as much as possible the first trimester (I never can have just one cup - I have a problem, lol), but this morning I don't think I would've made it safely to work if I didn't. It was delicious.
2. I miss DH. He's on a "business" trip. He is with coworker and they are golfing. No actual business discussed.
3. I am relieved that we are sticking to our financial plan for when the baby comes. The goal is to pay off the rest of his student loans plus 3 credit cards and having 4 months worth of my pay in savings by the time LO arrives. So far, we've paid off one student loan and a credit card. We are contributing a certain amount of money each pay check in order to get the savings built up.
4. I'm feeling expidentially worse today. Can I go back to sleep yet?
5. Is it weird I'm excited to get blood work done this week? It's to check my med levels for the beginning of the second trimester and I'm thinking that we aren't going to have to raise the meds yet. I have been feeling really good in the epilepsy department (no tremors ot night time twitching). The longer I can hold out before upping them, the better. My goal is not to have to do it until the beginning of the third trimester.
6. I love the fact that my HR person was so excited for me. He made me feel comfortable and like he was really going to do his best to get me the best option for maternity leave. I feel better about this today.
7. You can tell that my mood had drastically changed over the past couple of weeks. I'm finally starting to be really excited about the baby (I was always excited, just really nervous that something would be wrong). It feels like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
8. I'm starting to see the beginnings of a linea negra already. This seems early.
9. My MIL bought me mangoes. I can't wait for lunch time!
10. I want ice cream. Who wants to buy me a Fribble from Friendly's?
I must be a freak because I cannot WAIT to see it. My BIL and I are going since DH and SIL hate scary movies.
Then again, I watched Jaws at two and was yelling for the shark to eat the captain. My mom said I was yelling, "Eat 'em, sharky! Eat 'em!"
1. WE are returning some extra baby items today and with all the gift card money, cash and returns we will be purchasing his crib and his mattress and also my boppy and cover.
2. We are going to Osage Beach this weekend to soak up some sun and I also plan on doing some shopping since they have a Target down there!
3. I haven't drank a Mt.Dew in ages and I was craving one today and had one....never again my friends....
4. Little man must seem to like my rib cage at night. I can recline back on the couch and I can feel his feet go from about mid stomach and curl up to my rib cage and that's where he stays until morning and then he drops back down
5. This week is going to go by so SLOW since I'm taking a half day on Friday, we having a doctors appointment on Friday and then leaving for the weekend right after
6. I wish I would've taken more of my baby shower cupcakes. They were snicker doodle flavor and oh my goodness they were heavenly!
7. I went to the chiropractor yesterday thank goodness for them! If I wouldn't have went I probably wouldn't have been walking today due to my hips and back hurting so bad.
8. I may have gotten a little excited when I found a rock n play online at Target this is a dog instead of the monkey one I wanted. I have a thing for dogs :-) and will be purchasing that one instead.
9. Madeline I agree I hate scary movie commercials. I either change the channel or look at something else during them. The Conjuring being one of them and MH wants to see it really bad, no way this momma is going. I guess it's based off a true story to which makes it worse!
10. And to add to everyone else's' it's hot here as well. It's going to get even hotter all week with head index up to 100 or over. Good thing I'll be laying in a pool or the lake all weekend! I'll be lathering on the sunscreen and sucking down water!
1) I'm hot. We don't have A/C. I've decided to lay around in a tank top and panties.
2) My jeans are too tight and I can finally notice a tiny bump under my flub!
3) DH is going to a punk rock festival in August that one of my favorite bands is playing and he's also going to see another one of my favorite bands on their final tour in the same month. I'm super jealous.
4) I'm going to Boston next week!!! I may refuse to come home to PA.
5) I'm really tired of the every other day "How are you feeling?" calls from my MIL. She's calling more than my mom and dad combined.
What bands?
I'm sad because Jane's Addiction will be here at the end of August and I really want to go, but it's an outside show, and I just can't see myself being out there in the heat 9 months pregnant.

He's going to East Coast Tsunami Fest, which is September, not August. He wants to go all 3 days, but we agreed on one. Depending on the day I'll be missing any of the following (which now that I looked is way more than 1): Street Dogs, The Menzingers (who are from about 20 minutes from here), Bouncing Souls, Wisdom in Chains (Who are also from near by and we know them personally), and Strength for a Reason (also from about 10 minutes from us and we're also good friends with).
He's also going to see Streetlight Manifesto for their last tour.
Gah! It's so not safe for me to go! I told him I'm going to shows after LO comes. I miss them dearly!
I worked on Warped Tour for two years and got to know these guys fairly well. Tobe is an awesome dude
I haven't talked to him in ages though. Life kinda kicked in.
I miss the old Warped Tour, they were actually one of the first bands I ever saw live with DH. I was in the front row, it was amazing. It's in town today and it's just not the same, all the kids look the same and their eye liner is going to run like crazy today. Bands like that don't play anymore
I've met the lead singer several times, he's so nice! I actually have a picture of him looking down my shirt at a show years ago, I think it was my profile pic on Myspace... I hate it when life kicks in, I wake up and i'm 29 and myspace isn't cool anymore and I realize I'm too old to do the things I used to do!
1. Vaughn has his first diaper rash on his little tush. It's so sad and I feel guilty. I'm airing out his little asss. I used the diaper rash cream, but he seems to be in pain. We have an appt on Thursday. Poor guy.
2. I posted quite a few family pictures. I wonder and worry people on here might know me IRL.
3. I'm hungry. Almost starving. Bouncing Ella with my foot and holding Vaughn. No wonder my house is upside down.
4. Walmart let me exchange about ten packs of diapers, no questions asked. Or receipts. I thought that was great. Babies are in size one now. (I hate Walmart, but this won me over a tiny bit).
5. My mom and mil watched the babies and bottle fed them while I ran around for a bit yesterday. It was great!
6. I won't leave two babies with one person unless it's DH. I think my mil is annoyed by this. It's hard for ME when I have a twin meltdown.
7. I got really sick after dinner last night. Throwing up while trying to nurse. V was so confused as to why he kept getting ripped off the tot. I had to go to sleep. DH had to thaw milk and get both to bed. I woke up at midnight to two babies in their cribs. I was impressed.
8. I want to snuggle my chapped asss baby, but it's hard with two. Both know when they're in their nursery alone!
9. Things are getting better.
10. I just bought a swing on amazon, Ella girl loves her swing and hers took a dump. I have packages from amazon almost daily. I need to quit.
11. Im making pork chops tonight. Anyone have a great way they go about it?

14. I went to meetup.com and found a local moms group. I joined! Ha, first meeting will be Thursday for me. I'm scared. Ha.

H still wears band shirts all the time. He's the old guy in the pit that swears he's never doing it again. Yet, every time we go to a show I end up with his glasses and phone in my hands as he abandons me to go dance.

it is so hard not to feel guilty but try to take it easy on yourself...sometimes these things just happen!
I love thatWalmart just takes diapers back in questions asked. I returned a ton because Ava Nichol grew out of the newborn ones in a couple weeks.
I can totally understand not leaving both babies with anyone but DH but I am glad you were able to have your mom and MIL over so you could get out of the house! Also, sorry you were sick last night but good job DH!
It is noon here and we are halfway through nap number two (she usually only takes one) Thank goodness for good naps! We are also having a lazy day and staying in our jammies so that helps!
