Lost Contract
Anyone else dealing with the sadness of losing a contract. Our offer was reject on Sunday night and another offer was accepted. We are currently being held as a backup offer and the accepted offer was FHA so maybe something will swing in our favor. It just feels like I got dumped by the cool guy. Any words of encouragement?

I am so sorry. Should I dare to say that there are other fish, eh, I mean houses in your area? House hunting and moving just sucks.
I am surrounded by boxes, packing tape, and newspaper right now and feel like I am drowning.
I hope you discover a new, even better, home that you can get a contract on!
Maybe this will make you feel better. I'm on an FHA and can only buy the ones where the community is approved. TWICE the listing agents incorrectly put FHA approved on places I was bidding on.
On the first place it was my mortgage guy who came back before I signed any documents for the bid.
The second time, my bid was in, given to the other agent. The owner had bought the place on an FHA loan, but in the time period after, the complex had let their approval lapse.
Ugh!!!
Man, the third time I made sure myself the damn place was approved for my loan!!!
