Rant: H's store was specificially targeted in an online article of a relatively well known publication, saying how awful it is there. I'm not saying it's not, but I don't think it's any worse than any other store in this particular chain. H is taking it really hard and it's breaking my heart. He's blaming himself even though he's only been a manager for 4 months. Corporate also won't let them hire anyone or even order supplies to fix things that are broken in the store. So when you have departments with no managers and a staff of 1 person (vs. the 12 it used to have) of course the place is going to be a $hit hole! He's also tried to improve things but his store manager is a crazy b*tch, who won't let him do things and is a big part of why his store sucks. I just hate to see him so upset. He's also been working crazy hours so I haven't really seen him.
Raves: At least it's the weekend.
WP: Hopefully zumba tomorrow morning followed by a trip to the farmer's market, grocery shopping and cleaning the house. Sunday H & I are going to a class so I can get my license to carry (a firearm). Which I have to admit I'm not crazy excited about. But H has guns (he shoots IDPA for fun) so it will make things easier for us.
Plans: Not much tonight, probably just straightening up the house a bit, maybe do some laundry. We have a Netflix movie that needs to get watched at some point this weekend and we're hoping to find time to give our pup a bath. Tomorrow- going to the grocery store and making/baking some things for the lakehouse get-together on Sunday
Raves: Lake house on Sunday! It's by far my favorite day of the Summer. I can't wait!
And I just bought tickets for the Potugal vs. Brazil soccer game in MA this fall. I'm Portugese and a soccer fanatic so to be able to see the national team play in person 2 hours from my home is amazing to me. It's something on my bucket list that I never thought would actually happen so I'm super excited
Rants: I don't have much. I'm really tired today, but when am I not? lol
Rants : work has been really slow and its boring
Raves: I been really killing it with working out and hope to keep it up and maybe finally see some weight lose?
Weekend plans: Not much, we going to a family party saturday but other than that not much
I saw this and wondered if this was your H's store! Sam Walton is rolling in his grave, I am sure! It can be hard to fight the corporate beast, but I hope things turn around for him.
Rants: It's dang hot! And my office has very little AC. I had to move my computer (no laptop) to a different area because my office was 95 the other day! Seriously thought I would pass out! This is seriously wrong to make us work in a building with an ac that barely works. So glad I am leaving!
Raves: I finally have an interview on Monday for a new PT job.
Weekend Plans: Watch rest of the Tour de France. I want to go to the Vineyard for breakfast on Sunday, but I'm not sure if H will go along with that.
Weekend Plans: I am heading to my parents house tonight. My dad has been in the hospital all week. He had a colitis attack and some other stuff, so I need to go visit him. My husband is coming with. We also will go to the Bike Time (lots of motorcycles) festival that is going on this weekend in my hometown too. We will probably do that tonight. Tomorrow I am getting my haircut. Then I am going to one of my husband's co-workers house for a birthday party for the co-workers husband. On Sunday my husband's family will be over to our house for a get together. It is a busy weekend.
Rants/Raves: It has been a tough week not being to visit my dad while he is in the hospital. I hope he gets to come home today. I don't have a rave. The only thing I can think of is that I am excited to get my hair cut tomorrow since has been almost a year since I last got it cut.
Rant: I am still waiting for my background check to come back so I can go back to work This trasfering stores is a lot more of PAIN then I thought it was going to be. I am frusterated I have also been applying for lots of jobs for the past couple weeks and I have only heard back from 1 but that was to far away. H & I are pretty stressed with only haveing 1 paycheck coming in.
Raves: even tho I am kind of jobless & H is working I love living in Florida, and we just got our titles for our cars in the mail so now we can get the plates on our cars switched to Florida plates
Weekend Plans: Saturday H works so I will be home board unless Petco calls back and say my background check went threw and I am good to work again. Sunday IDK what our plans are because H doesn't work Sunday. We will probably go swimming or at least do something.
Rants: I called my dr at 8:15 this morning about some pains that I mentioned to the dr 2 weeks ago and nothing she suggested has helped. It's now 1:20 and no one has called back and when I call they say they are waiting on the dr to review it.
Raves: I'm off work today I needed an extra day to rest.
Weekend Plans: Tonight H and I are going to MIL's favorite place for dinner in her honor. Tomorrow we have no plans and it's supposed to rain so I may just do laundry and work on some projects. Sunday same thing we may try to go visit some friends but I'm hoping to rest some.
