DH and I are planning to register at BRU and also either Baby Depot or Target. We're not sure which one to go with. Anyone know the differences between the two?

Re: Baby Depot vs. Target
Can you even register at baby depot? I thought it was the same as Burlington coat factory in that whatever they have they have, but if its not in the store you can't just grab it online. Maybe I'm thinking of something else.
ETA: never mind, I looked it up. I would still choose target over baby depot just because of the limited selection I've seen when I've gone into the baby depot closest to me.
We registered at Target and will register at Buy Buy Baby this weekend.
I've never heard of Baby Depot but I guess it depends on how easily it's accessible for your guests. If you have a Target (or multiple, like me) nearby I would go that route.
Since Buy Buy Baby is baby specific, it's nice to have an alternative that would let them take care of other errands on top of it. (Like Sg said!)
We actually have no Buy Buy Baby near us.

5 cats. 1 baby.
Our Baby Depot is inside of Burlington Coat Factory (is it not always?) and you can register there.
My concern would be location, because their website isn't very user friendly for me. Also, to me, Baby Depot and Target are just totally different stores. Different prices, different selection. It comes down to what you want.

I haven't looked into this at all, but in browsing CBH stuff, I noticed that Target has a lot online. Couldn't you just add to your registry online and have a decent selection?

Absolutely. But then people actually have to order online. Whenever I've shopped for a shower gift, I like to go to the store (usually the night before!) and look and compare, etc. I dunno. I prefer to shop in store. For those that are like me, there are more options at a big baby store than in an actual Target store.
Plus, when we were registering, we liked to look and touch and try things, can you can't do that online.
Like I said, purely a personal opinion about not finding Target to be an essential registry. And trust me, I LOVE Target. I spend entirely too much money there. But I didn't bother doing my registry there.
