QOTD 7/23

Now that we all have been married for pretty much 9 months, what wedding/shower gift do you use the most?

Re: QOTD 7/23

  • All my kitchen stuff - kitchen aid mixer, dutch over, flexible cutting boards, placemats, dishes etc.  Right now my corn cutter is coming in handy, but I hate that I'm no longer friends with the girl that gave it to us.

  • I use my kitchen aid mixer.  We got it from my in-laws at the engagement party they insisted on having.

oh wait, I use towels and stuff more than my mixer...my mom got us a bunch of towels for my wedding shower.  We didn't live together before marriage so literally everything we own was given to us as gifts.

  • I guess technically my new towels or new bedspread, as those certainly get used once a day. :)

  • We did a honeymoon registry, but my MOH's mom got me this really cute travel bag and I use that a lot.

  • Towels and sheets I guess. Though my mom orchestrated a home stereo system and tv as an engagement present and that definately gets used at least once a day!

  • Towels, sheets, duvet

Dishes, knives, pots and pans, drinking glasses

We had a very well thought out registry and we use almost all of our gifts all the time...we've even used our fine china : )

  • I use almost everything we got on a regular basis.  Items that get the most use are, curtains, pots and pans, plates, glasses and bed sets.
  • Sheets and towels, obviously. I love love our dishes and we use those daily too.

  • Towels and down comforter/duvet. Also our china and silverware.

ETA: I can't think of anything that we received that doesn't get frequent use.

  • Our dishes and our knife set get used the most.  Well, except for towels and our comforter set.

This would be a good follow up QOTD! DH and I were just talking about a couple of hours that we thought we'd use.

  • We use everything pretty often. We've even used our china a few times. I love everything we got, and we needed it all!

  • We use the Keurig and plates every day.  Steak knives we use often.  We don't really have much of our shower presents at our apartment because we don't have space.  Our sheets, comforter, towels, serve ware, glasses and everything else are in my grandmother's basement.  If we ever find a house I can't wait to use everything.  Certain things, like towels, I am looking forward to more than others.
  • The only things we have used are our shower curtain and shower head. I cannot wait to get a house so I can use everything else. We currently have a roommate and don't trust him with any of the nice stuff. He doesn't clean up properly and it would drive me insane if he screwed up any of my stuff. Hopefully here in the next two months!
