Is it okay to be loosing weight so far? It might not seem like much, but I am down a pound in 4 or so days.

Re: Weight in 1st tri
Very normal, especially since you've mentioned how food is unappetizing and you have been sick.
I'm almost 26 weeks and am up 4 lbs total since finding out and gained zero in first tri.
Since you were trying to gain weight pre-baby anyway, I'm sure you will still want to discuss it with your midwife when you get there. I wouldn't worry though.
Just try to eat when you feel up to it and stay hydrated. Mention the weight loss to your doctor. Try taking vitamins before bed or switch to flintstones of they are making you sick. I found frequent smallest a helped the most with nausea.
To make you feel my love.
When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.

Doing my best. Usually a combo of lemon water and gingerale.

I lost 10 lbsin the first 22 weeks, then I started gaining it back. Just stay hydrated and eat when you can, but dont worry too much. You'll start gaining soon enough.
Have you tried ginger tea? It has the same benefit of the ginger in the ginger ale but is more hydrating because it is tea. I only found it in teabags at the grocery store but I made it hot at night and iced for during the day.
Oh and I didn't lose weight in 1st tri but I didn't gain any either until after 16 weeks. It is normal to lose weight early especially because of the morning sickness but of course bring it up to your midwife at that appointment. I hope you start feeling better soon!

I like tea so I'll have to try and find that. Thanks
Glad to know that it's probably ok. Thanks for the reassurance ladies.
