Manic Monday
A little late.. but that's okay! Did everyone have a nice weekend?
I took my little brother shopping for his college stuff. We basically shopped for 6 hours, but he was a very good sport! Although, I secretly wish he was a girl, then we would've been able to shop for a lot more stuff, ha! That's bad..
Yesterday, I finished putting up the door to our spare room and started painting it. Then went to DH's softball game (they lost, it wasn't good at all).
DH was in a bad mood yesterday, he worked a lot this weekend and losing his game didn't help. He sent me a text this morning apologizing (usually his bad moods don't last more than a day, so I figured he'd be over it today).. but I'm thinking I can use that to my advantage and see if he'll take me out for ice cream tonight.

Saturday, DH worked. I had started reading a book, and once I do, I can't put my kindle down! I went to the gym and spent a couple hours there. Then we went over to DH's parents to celebrate his birthday (only a month late!) We were on vacation on his actual birthday.
Sunday, I went to church with my parents. DH worked (again). Then he came out to my parents to celebrate my grandmother's 98th birthday!
I was insanely busy at work today. My brain is completely frazzled right now - I feel like I accomplished nothing and have no clue what I need to do tomorrow. Ugh. My softball game got cancelled tonight.
I really need to get this house cleaned - I decided I wanted to have a bunch of people over next weekend.

Friday, H worked and I relaxed at home. We stayed up too late talking after he got home and didn't get ot bed til like 330!
Saturday was rough. BIL and SIL were watchign the kiddo over night so we could go to a concert but it wound upbeing cancelled and H got called in to work. I would have kept him home in that case, but he and the cousins were sooooo excited for their sleepover. So we dropped him off and went home and napped. It was much needed from out late night Friday. So H went to work and I woke up around 8pm and vegged out.
Sunday we went for brunch and then met up with another couple for a few drinks. I went to bed earlyish so I could get up and go to the gym but woke up this morning with a super sore throat. Go figure.
Friday I worked then we drove up to my Aunts to pick up my sister. We went out to eat with my dad, sister, aunt and uncle Friday night. Then after went to HEB to pick up a few things.
Saturday we went to the Galleria (4th largest mall in the US if I remember correctly). Then to Alamo Draft House to eat and see RIPD. Watched my cat from hell and Avatar later that night.
Sunday we walked around Discovery Green, went to the aquarium downtown, ate at Jus Mac and went to Herman Park to walk around. Then we picked up pizza and Wreck it Ralph from red box. The person who returned the movie had peeled off just enough of the barcode to "return" the movie. How desperate/stingy/bad do you have to be to steal a $1 rental? It only cost $5 at the box to buy it. H took care of getting ahold of customer service and worked it all out. I've never ever seen something like this before.
