Re: Whine and Win Wednesday

  • Whine-We did not sleep last night. Especially me. It takes forever for me to fall asleep and she would wake up again before I could even get back to sleep.

Whine-We are missing gymnastics this week because of the poor mood and bad night.

Win-Ava Nichol is eating yogurt with a spoon right now. Yay for using utensils and yay for eating. That means this no sleeping thing should be short lived.

Whine-If we can't get more kids in the gymnastics class it will end next week. Ava Nichol loves the class so that will be very sad.

Win-I am totally taking a nap when Ava Nichol takes hers. I have stuff I should be doing like cleaning but nothing that can't wait.

Win-It is supposed to be nice but not too hot later this week. I am hoping to go on a walk or two this week. The weather has either been too hot or raining so it will be nice to get outside.

  • Whine- I didn't get any sleep last night. My back is killing me and I couldn't get comfortable at all! Poor DH he had to go to work at 6 am and I had him up all night rubbing my back!

Win- I get to use my no sleep and back pain as an excuse to do nothing today!!

Whine- I miss my mom! I was supposed to see her today but its her day off and I bet she wants to be lazy so I will not bug her today.

  • Whine: I have heart burn. It feels like there are fireworks in my chest.

Win: for once, it's not raining :)

Whine: it needs to be Friday. I'm exhausted.

Win: DH decided to go on his business trip a day last, just so he could have dinner with me tonight :)

Whine: the CEO is here to discuss my maternity leave and he leaves Friday morning and they still haven't come to a decision.

Whine: this is more like an angry post. My doctor called in the wrong AEDs. Once they realized the mistake, they called the pharmacy and told them. This was after I picked them up (when I was on the phone with the nurse, she said the right meds were the ones I picked up). The pharmacy refused to give me a refund and told my nurse that it "wasn't their problem." My nurse is the sweetest guy on this planet and there was no reason to be rude to him. He called me and told me that he felt bad and that the office would reimburse me for the copay. I feel horrible about this and when I declined, he said the check was already in the mail.  Stupid pharmacy.

  • Win: I had the babies in bed with me after they woke at 6am. They ate at 4am so hunger wasn't the issue. we slept till 9! Ahhhhhhhmazing! We don't bed share often, but today it was beautiful. I'm a much better mother to these two with sleep!

Whine: I've added a bottle of formula. I EBF and it's hard to give them formula. I KNOW nothing is wrong with formula, I just really wanted to EBF.

  • Win- I got 7 hours of sleep last night!

Whine- I want pizza, but DH said we're waiting until next week to get it.

I'm sorry your doctor's office called in the wrong meds, and the pharmacy certainly shouldn't have been rude to the nurse. However, pharmacies are not allowed to accept returns of medications that they've already dispensed. I realize that sometimes they do, but it's not legal. The pharmacy didn't make a mistake with your meds, correct?  Your doctor/nurse did, and I'm glad they sent you a check to cover the copay for the wrong med. The pharmacy, quite frankly, shouldn't have to eat the cost of your medication (since they can't dispense it to someone else even if they did take it back).

I agree with you. But the pharmacy told me to throw the medication away since I cannot use it and they cannot dispense it. Either way it's money wasted. They could've handled it much differently. The people in my pharmacy (I actually used to work there) act very high and mighty. I actually quit because they were so rude to EVERYONE (doctors and customers alike). There's no reason for that and the nurse told me that he is just going to fax things over from now on cause he no longer wants to talk to them.

Wow, that's pretty bad if the nurse won't even call them any more! I'm surprised they don't get complaints about their rudeness if it's so bad. (Or maybe they do and just don't care.)

They do all the time and really just don't care. Pharmacy Techs are constantly rotating in and out because no one wants to stay and work with the core people. The longest I ever saw any new person stay was about 7 months before transferring to a different part of the store. However, my insurance only accepts two chain pharmacies and this is the closest one to me with hours that match up with my insane schedule.
