QOTD 7/25
A couple days ago the QOTD was what wedding gift do you use the most. Out of curiousity, what wedding gift would you say you use the least? Did you register for it and think you'd get more use out if it? Or was it not on your registry?

I think the only thing we registered for but haven't used yet is a tart pan. I like to bake, but haven't had much time to lately. I thought about using it a few times, but I'm just too busy right now.
I'm pretty sure that we've used everything else multiple times by now.
DH insisted on getting a fondue pot. I'm pretty sure that thing is just going to collect dust. We have been talking about having a fondue party, but we haven't had the time.
We haven't used our bathroom towels yet either. I want to use up our old towels first. I don't like to be wasteful. So the new towels will just sit in storage until I decide the old ones can go to the farm as birthing towels.
We have not used some of the bakeware we got. I insisted we had to have ramekins. Yeah, they are still in the box!
I have not used these either. They came in a set with other stoneware that I have used though.

Hopefully not for much longer, though!!
When we do start using things, it'll probably be this decorative crystal bowl or picture frame. Who knows, maybe not.
have you gotten word yet on the house?
Pretty much everything. Almost everything is in my grandmother's basement. I know some of it will still be rarely used, but most of the stuff there is useful and I want it.
The only thing we have here that I never use is this giant stock pot. I had to have it, so MIL bought it as my shower gift. She asked why I needed such a big pot but I didn't have a response. It's sitting with the rest of my pots, taking up space and I have never used it. One day I will find a use for it!!
We're still in negotiations. We just got their counter offer this morning and will be making our final one tonight. They've come down 13,000 overall so far, but it's still 2,000 over what our target price was. We've decided to put in a final offer for our target price and hope they accept. If not, we'll make another offer with the price that's 13,000 off. Hopefully I'll know tomorrow for sure what's happening!!
So stressful, but sooo exciting! I really hope you get it. With this many negotiations, they would be stupid not to drop it another $2,000 just to be done with it!
