How is it going?
So I thought I would check in.
The boys went to their mother's for a month. Caden was injured. They thought that he broke his thumb but it turned out to an incorrectly read x-ray. Their mother bought them a slip and slide. Ya know the thing I told them that they couldn't get because it was dangerous.
While she had them for that month they didn't brush their teeth and only took two showers. And were up all night long on netflix.
Then my two nephews visited. Love the 11 year old but the 5 year old is a handful. They are thankfully home now.
Then the boy's mother took them to Florida for five days to visit some of their family there. She thought hey no one needs sunblock. I got to nurse them back from 2nd degree burns. Also she no longer gets visitation.
Then the whole Sh!t storm that has occurred with my little half sister. Apparently her stepfather was abusing her. She has been removed from their house. And Dad is fighting for custody. Her mother would never let dad or any of us have any contact with her. This whole thing has made my stepmother not fun to live with.
Oh and Nate just got a new job as a chef and it pays great with good benefits.
So I have been super stressed. And haven't even lurked here. That has been my summer so far. Miss you ladies.

Hey Mono!! It sounds like life is going for you. Slip and Slides are dangerous? This is news to my growing-up-80s-self. I actually found them too bumpy in most backyards so we used to tube on it.. haha. Sorry your stepson got hurt!!!
The new platform comes here next week. Eeesh.
