I am bored.

I already worked this morning. My bills are paid, my apartment is clean (a result of hubby having a week of vacation time) and nothing on the internet is interesting to me right now.

Anyone else on? What are your plans for this weekend?

Re: I am bored.

  • I am here. I'm exhausted today. I work at 1:00 and have a make up launch party from 6-8 at my salon. I hope I am feeling well enough to have a girls dinner with my sister, stepmother and daughter after my party.
  • I hope you are too! I've been thinking about you all day today.

  • Aww thank you. I think the hardest part is now behind me. I look terrible today very pail and sickly. I hope after a shower that can bring a little life back. What are you doing the rest of the day?
  • You are very welcome = ) Anytime

Thinking about going to watch Monsters University (I told you all I have the interest of a five year old haha)  with hubby. My dad just invited us over a little later too. I haven't seen him in AGES. So we will probably do that = )

  • I loved monsters inc. I defiantly want to take my DD to see it.
  • I loved it too! I am so excited to see it. I've heard really good reviews about it. I've noticed that Pixar sequels aren't *quite* as bad as Disney sequels. Sometimes.

Speaking of movies...what is your favorite? Or favorites? = )

  • I totally agree the Disney sequels often get cheesy. I also want to take my son to the new one about planes. I can't remember the name right now but it reminds me of cars.
  • Those movies aren't just for 5 year olds! They're really good for us adults too ;) So far Jared and I have seen Despicable Me 2, Monsters University, and Turbo, all really really good movies that we would see again. We make a point to go at a time that we know kids will be there. Children's laughter definitely makes things even better :)

  • I think it is just called "Planes" but yeah, it looks super cute.

Another movie I can't wait for is "Saving Mr. Banks" about Walt Disney and making Mary Poppins. It's got Tom Hanks as Walt and Emma Thompson as the author of Mary Poppins

    And of course....Catching Fire.

  • Oh my gosh, I can't WAIT for Catching Fire... And Ender's Game. Definitely seeing midnight showings of both ;)

  • So glad someone understands me! lol.

We ended up not being able to see Monster's University. We had to get to the pharmacy a few towns over where T has his anxiety meds sent. But it was still a very fun day none the less.

We went and saw Despicable Me 2 a few weeks ago at the local drive in with my and 11 year old brothers. So. much. fun. I totally agree....going when kids are there makes the experience ten times more fun.

I think I will always be a child at heart. Most "adult" films just don't interest me.

T and I are so pumped about Catching Fire. I had read the series before the first movie came out. T started reading them after we saw the first movie. Now he's hooked. I wasn't a fan of the Catching Fire book but I reread and now I like it. For sure don't like Mockingjay. I think it's unnecessary that they are splitting the movie into two parts. (Harry Potter knockoff!). My favorite will always be The Hunger Games though.

  • Oh I read through the whole series too before the movie came out :) Jared and I commuted back and forth between where we live and to go visit my parents (which is 3 hours away) so I read the first one to him as he drove. He has yet to read/listen to the second one. But I'm stoked :)
